Bigwig Toy Poodle Reports

All you dogs, head for Poole Farm. We both got a Bonio and poobag on arrival and can come off lead in the field on site. Greg and Louise are lovely and her in the driving seat said we are definitely coming back for a longer stay.

Absolutely Gorgeous!!

Well, this site is the best site we’ve stayed on in nearly 20 years of camper vanning! We were greeted by Lou, and immediately offered a cuppa, very welcome. Complimentary cream tea, yum! Home made pizza, yum too. A dog walk field, where we could actually let our 4 off to play. Perfect. And the peacefulness, just what we needed. Shower, toilets, spotless whenever we went in. Site clean & tidy. Just couldn’t fault it at all. A massive thank you Greg & Louise.

Campsite Heaven

We have to give this CL 10 out 10, if there was a higher score we would give it to them The facilities are of a very high standard The food fantastic - don't bother taking any food - we stayed for a week and only cooked one day, Even our dog Eric was also well looked after with a good sized dog area, and after a dip in the river able to shower in the dedicated dog shower Greg & Louise & Harvey made our stay and 25th wedding anniversary very special and we will return thankyou

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

We recently stayed at Poole Farm CL site. Pre arrival was smooth and well organized. On arrival what can we say; the best customer service we have ever had on a site. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clearly explained. The pitch was superb. Plenty of space with gravel and a grass area. The facilities were far beyond what we expected and immaculate. The attention to detail is truly amazing they have thought of absolutely everything and work non stop to make sure your stay is perfect. An added bonus of a superb two course Sunday lunch and home cooked breakfast and pastries delivered to your van just make this place so special. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend Poole Farm highly enough. Thank you all very much for making our wedding anniversary perfect.

The Best Site we have stayed on

We just felt we had to review Poole Farm Launceston, because it was just wonderful in every way. Our host couldn’t do enough and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The facilities were spotless and lacked nothing. We would recommend a visit if you want a peaceful wonderful relaxing holiday. 10 out of 10 Thank you team Poole Farm

Fabulous stay again

This is our third visit to Poole Farm, the second since Greg & Louise took over. Site has all you could wish for. Extremely tidy pitches, well maintained facilities, and a welcome that is second to none. Greg, Louise and Harvey are the most helpful and friendly hosts. If you are on site on a Sunday, roast dinner delivered to your pitch is a must. We also sampled other dishes from Louise’s kitchen, all of which were top class meals. The complimentary cream tea on arrival went down very well, also the chilled water melon and ice creams that were delivered to all guests during the “heatwave”. Each visit gets better. Sure we will be back.

Other reviewer’s have listed the impressive facilities ,I can only reiterate the quality and thought that Louise ,Gregg and Harvey have put in to this site make it simply superb ! Thank you again and we will be back again.

This really is 5*

I've stayed at some good CLs but this really is 5*. Great to be greeted & taken to the pitch & then given a guided tour around the site. The shower is top quality & there is a separate toilet as well as the one in the bathroom. We took advantage of the Sunday dinner delivered to our caravan & the complementary cream tea. We didn't actually take advantage of the pies & other meals available as we had stocked up before arrival, however, we were sorry as others were obviously taking advantage. Each pitch was clearly marked. We definitely hope to return as many others do. Greg couldn't have been more helpful, offering to get anything required that they did not already have in their emergency supplies. Also has washing machine & drier in addition to washing up area. Difficult to imagine anything else they could have supplied.

Absolutely stunning!

We recently returned from our second visit to Poole Farm and it won't be our last. Poole Farm is absolutely stunning; Greg, Lou and Harvey really do go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be; then they go just that bit further, and you just sit there and think 'wow'. We took our two dogs. Both Lou and Greg are dog lovers and will spend time fussing over guests and dogs; they just can't do too much for you. The setting is beautiful; it is always immaculate, and Greg spends hours ensuring it stays that way. Lou's culinary provisions are a delight; huge portions of absolutely lovely food, whether you want a Sunday roast, a cream tea or a curry. All of these are delivered to your van, very hot and ready to eat. The facilities are amazing; shower room, a separate toilet, washing machine and tumble drier; meals available to buy from the 'honesty fridge'. There's the most fantastic dog shower for your four-legged friends too. It's impossible to compliment Lou and Greg too much; this site is what every other site should aspire to. I would just echo the other comments about arrival times; make sure you follow the instructions for route and times of arrival provided by Lou & Greg. You may well regret it if you don't!

So Welcoming.

Well, it has already been praised by dozens of happy C&MH members. All starts with such a warm and welcoming arrival and gets better from there onwards. If there is a Best Host & Hostess Award too, then they must be winners.
