Excellent base for exploring Northumberland
As first timers in Northumberland, we found this an excellent CL for visiting places of interest, of which there are many, particularly for National Trust or English Heritage members. Very spacious and level site with friendly and helpful owners. Easy access to water and disposal facilities. CL sited in open countryside next to an equestrian establishment which doesn't cause any problems. We would stay there again and probably will as we found a week not long enough to make the most of the area.
