Brilliant Site

Stayed for the weekend. The site is amazing and the facilities are so clean and tidy. The owners made us feel very welcome. This it the best value for money site we have stayed at.

An Anglesey Gem

Just returned home after a great 2 week holiday at Pwl Preban. Quiet and peaceful The site is easily found but be careful at the last corner. Friendly and helpful owners. All pitches are hard standing , with plenty of room, during our stay the toilet / shower facilities were closed due to Covid. All pitches have electric & water. TV reception good Phone reception (3) good Nearest shop is in Valley , there are large supermarkets within 4 miles on the outskirts of Holyhead. Nearest pub The White Eagle Rhoscolyn

Great place for touring Anglesey

We have stayed on this site at least once a year for quite some time. For us, it is the ideal CL. The owner is a really friendly chap. Its a busy small-holding so sometimes they can be hard to find. The pitches are reasonably level and well spaced. The site is easy to find, but be careful of fast traffic round the hidden bend on the road as you enter. Great walks direct from the site. Lovely bay and beach close by, but recommend walking as although there is a car park, the lanes are very narrow and twisting, not great for a motorhome. There is now a commercial site adjacent, which obviously increases the traffic and the noise. However, the CL benefits from an excellent toilet/shower block, which is open even when the commercial site is closed. As we always visit off-season, the adjacent site is closed and quiet.

This is an excellent site, a great base for exploring all Anglesey has to offer

As everyone has said before the site is well laid out with hard-standing pitches surrounded by grass. Your EHU is beside the pitch and the water and waste water are a short stroll away from any pitch. The shower block has male and female toilets and showers. The white eagle pub is 5 min away and beautiful Roscolyn beach is a a short drive or about 15 min walk. The beach is dog friendly and even has toilets so if you wanted a full day there you can. The small car park is pay and display but it is a nominal charge for such a beautiful beach. There is a small site adjacent to the CL which seems to be seasonal pitches.

Campervan Visit March 2019

Pleasant and helpful owners of a well kept and appointed CL. Flat hardstanding pitches with grass surrounds and minimal road noise when inside. Easily accessible water fill up for smaller vans. Excellent & clean facilities block although a little cool in March - our only comment about a small improvement would be an additional towel hook closer to the shower. Chemical toilet emptying very good. Short road walk to access Coastal Path in both directions and well signed. Deservedly busy even in March but we were able to book at short notice.

Fabulous CL

As has been said by others, this is a great CL. It's well laid out, with hard standing pitches surrounded by grass with hookups near each pitch. Loo block is fantastic; best I have seen on a CL. Ideally placed for exploration of the coastal path - the section near here is really breathtaking.

Stunning

What a beautiful site. Unfortunately all my remarks are positive there is nothing negative I can say about this site. Toilets and showers very clean. If you like walking there are plenty to lovely beaches and little coves. I have never walked so far and enjoyed. I suffer with arthritis and still managed the walks, I think the views took my mind off the aches and pains, lol. Would deffinately recommend the site for a visit. Thank you for a lovely stay .

A great CL that could be one of the very best.

We stayed here midweek in March 2018. The CL is adjacent to a 11 pitch site owned by the same people as CL, however at no time did it feel overcrowded or in any way noisy. There is a shower and toilet block which was clean and modern. One downside re the toilet block is there is no where to washouts and pans, also there is no seat to use when drying yourself after a shower. People may think that I'm being picky but I'm not because this CL has the capability to be one of the very best with just a few small changes. Close to the site is Rhoscolyn beach which is a 15 minute walk, the beach is dog friendly. On the way to the beach is the White Eagle pub which opens all day and serves good food. We will definitely return to this CL.

Fabulous location

Quite possibly one of the nicest CLs we have stayed on. The CL is next to a small caravan site run by the owners but this is no way detracts from the peace and tranquility The 2 areas are separate but the immaculate toilet and shower block are shared. Pitches are level and stoned situated to the edge of a very large lawned field. What makes this site wonderful is its close proximity the beautiful coastline. Rhoscolyn beaches have to be seen ...just breathtaking. Snowdonia mountain range in the background just completes the picture. So many great walking opportunities from the CL. Choice of supermarkets a very short drive away in Holyhead. Very helpful accommodating owners. This CL has it all.

Coastal walks and an excellent pub

The site is very well situated for enjoying the beautiful coastal path with its cliffs, rocky inlets and sandy coves. There is also the White Eagle pub with very good food and beer and this is under ten minutes walk from the site. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, both before and after arriving and the facilities were spotlessly clean and modern. The pitches were hard standing and generous. The CL field is next to a larger caravan site owned by the same people. A hedge is being grown between these two fields and I think this will make the CL site feel a bit more private. Overall an excellent site and would definitely consider returning.
