A lovely CL site

We have been using CL sites for 15+ years and this has to be one of the best we have visited. As everyone has said the views from each pitch are just stunning. The owners Ben and Netty are lovely and have done a great job with the site, it is a credit to them. A short walk down the hill from the site is a public footpath over fields to the village, which was great for walking our dogs. Would definitely return.

I absolutely could not fault this lovely CL. Beautifully maintained, peaceful, stunning views and perfectly placed for exploring the Wye Valley

Another WOW

We all have different requirements for our stops. Ours is the 3Ws - waste, water & woofs. Rockpoint met and exceeded all 3 - easy access to waste facilities plus recycling, easy access to water and very dog friendly. Lovely spacious, tidy site next to the fabulous small holding with stunning countryside views. Ben and Netty are both lovely, friendly and helpful people. Best hosts we have encountered. We were very lucky to have the site just to us and our friends and to be the first shop customers. A welcoming little store with basics for emergencies but far nicer all the locally produced goodies (including Ben's sourdough) which you can treat yourself too. We will be back! If we lived nearer, probably very frequently!

Awesome CL

This is a lovely CL with everything and more that you would expect from a CL. Stunning views, immaculately kept site, and lovely friendly hosts Ben and Netty. Probably the best CL we have been on. We will defiantly be back for more!

WOW of a CL!

WOW! Just about sums up this CL. Easy access, a warm greeting from Ben and what a wonderful pitch overlooking rolling countryside. The site has everything you need for a quiet, relaxing stay and extras too like the entertainment of the Geese, George & Mildred and their friends. The friendliness of our hosts Netty & Ben along with knowledge of the local area. Not to say the fresh eggs and delicious sourdough bread freshly baked by Ben and delivered to our door!! The site is well placed for easy access to points of interest and lovely walks around the village of Llangarron. We felt like we'd known the hosts for years and hope to return one day - thank you Ben & Netty!

Simply Brilliant

Breakfast with spectacular all round views to the Wye Valley. A night cap under an amazing star display including the Milky Way. Not to mention the great pitches, cleanliness and warm welcome and contact from the owners. This is a real gem, definitely a place to return to and probably the best site we have stayed on.

'Wow' CL

We Just had two nights in our motorhome at this ‘wow’ CL . Lovely clean well kept site with good sized pitches each having its own tap and EHU . Electric was metered but generous allowance in the price meant we only used under half of this so did not incur extra charges despite use of heater, microwave, kettle. TV and fridge etc. Can only endorse and reiterate the previous five star reviews on cleanliness, access, fantastic views across the valley and especially the paddock in front of the pitches with the hens, geese and ducks ‘marching’ around in it, most amusing. Loved it all. Ben and Netty are both fantastic hosts and Ben's home made bread is a must. Thank you both and we will return soonest.’ (You will notice that this review is submitted by us at Rock Point (Netty and Ben), unfortunately some of of latest guests couldn't submit this lovely review for us, so they sent us an email and asked us to leave it on here for them)

Brilliant!

We booked for three nights and stayed fourteen! I think this speaks for itself. We fully endorse every one of the very positive comments made by many others. This is the creme de la creme of CLs and great credit goes to Netty and Ben for developing this lovely site. We loved every minute of our stay there and really hope we can revisit sometime in the future. Nettie is a sweetie and enhanced our visit in so many ways. John and Jan

Just Amazing

We go out of our way to find CL’s such as Rock Point. After over 10 years of Motorhome traveling in the UK, Rock Point is one of the best we’ve stayed at…! The facilities are spot on for a CL & the hosts, Ben & Netty are the ultimate ‘professionals’ in delivering perfect yet unobtrusive service. The views from all the pitches are amazing and there are plenty of lovely circular walks nearby. Pub just over the valley around 20 minutes walk.. what more could you want at £18 a night…! Our highlight was the amazing Sourdough bread, home baked by Ben, and delivered by Netty..! Can I recommend the home baked sourdough with a couple of their ‘on farm’ eggs poached lightly onto toast..!! Just perfect 😃👍 Five stars all the way…!!
