This is our 2nd visit of the season, ofcourse we have visited for many years. We never tire of the site, and love the peace and scenery that you get.The site is well cared for, and the toilets and showers are always spotless. In fact I dont think there is anything you can fault the site for.Always enjoy our visits

Just the job owd lad

If your looking for a quiet site, that's well kept and a credit to its owners, you have just found it. we had four nights and from the minute we pulled on site we knew we would enjoy it. very handy for skipton, grassington, ingleton.malham, and try the fish and chips from gargrave we nipped there one night about two miles in a car, brought them back to the van and sat out eating them, cant beat it.

Home from home

Just got home after having 9 nights st Seat house. Words cannot sum up how beautiful this place is, we go every year and never tire. Lovely quiet location on a working farm. Lots to see and do the surrounding areas. This is our favourite site which is run by a lovely couple who leave you to it but are at hand if need be.

A Real Gem

A lovely very clean and tidy site with 2 showers and 2 toilets although it is a short walk from the top site [there are 2 sites] down to toilet /shower and chemical disposal but a trolley has been provided for this purpose . The owners are very friendly and have put together a folder of attractions /eateries etc . We will definitely return again.

The best ever

This was our first visit to this CL, we have been to several over the last 30 years but rate this one the best. It's well laid out in 2 small areas, with amazing views. The owners are friendly and helpful and give the impression they actually enjoy running a CL.

Paradise

We got on this CL at the last minute, had a bit of luck someone had cancelled, i'm so glad we found it. It is on a working farm so expect some usual noise but you weren't disturbed by the farm at all...the sheep baa and the cows moo, it's lovely!! the site is pristine, facilities spotless with loads of space between pitches, a wooden table and bench at the side of each pitch and a large patch of grass in centre that children would have plenty of room to play on. The surrounding countryside is  walker's heaven and the nearest village Gargrave is a couple of miles down the road, there is also a public bridleway to Gargrave (a lovely walk). The owners are friendly and relaxed no rush to pay and no coming round "checking up" on us ;). We saw newborn lambs and calves and the sun shone all weekend!! I can't believe it was only £15 a night (£14 without awning). We will definitely be returning.

happy

Always pleased  to return to Seat House. It was our first outing of the year, and our first visit for the year. It is always nice to arrive and see your name on the board, and you can choose your own pitch, which are all hard standing. The site and amenities are as usual well looked after. Always sorry to leave, but look forward to the next time.

Spot on....

Fantastic week - our first CL break. Made even better by a terrific site and a proper warm Yorkshire welcome. Facilities spotless, our daughter loved the lambs, plenty to see and do all within a short drive. We have already re-booked as we couldn't fit everything in during our stay.

Everything is relaxed. Everything!

Remember that this is a CL. This is an extremely good value for money site. We have just returned from a weekend away and will certainly be returning. The site is rediculously quiet, set in lovely open countryside, run by friendly and relaxed owners.  If, as well as the above, you are after a cheap site with excellent (clean, basic) toilet and shower facilities, you will do well to match this site. If you don't do rural, quiet, relaxed, cheap, level hard standing, easy access CL sites, then stay away from here and leave me the space!

Enjoyable weekend despite the weather!

Seat house is set in amazing countryside with great views in every direction. When we made the booking the owners told us they would be away on holiday, this was a shame because its always nice to speak with the owners. The toilets and showers were some of the best we have used on a cl site. Drinking water taps at both ends of the site is very handy. We struggled to find where we had to empty the waste water (think i found it). The weather was horrible all weekend but we still managed a lovely walk to Gargrave and back along the Pennine way. The Indian in Gargrave is a must visit, and Skipton is a lovely town to wander around. We will be using this site as often as we can get away, as there are walks in just about every direction! Next time we want some sunshine and hopefully meet the owners because they sound so welcoming after reading previous reviews.
