Convenient site

Stayed here mid may 2021. Small site with grass no hard standing but grass was firm when we stayed in mixed weather. Ehu and water. Etc. The site Is off main road and can be easily missed as small signs and pub mentioned has since closed. Very pleasant owner no hassle. Good site for seeing the area.

Excellent CL

Stayed here several times, for a week or a weekend this is an ideal location for us. Very friendly couple with a lovely well kept site. The ground is fairly level and drains well in wet weather. Only an hour away from home but we keep going back. Canterbury has three Park & Rides available but there is a local bus that stop near enough outside the site. Sandwich is a short bus ride away in the other direction. Wingham and Howletts Wildlife parks are close by.

Good place to be

What a great place to stay! Easy access, easy parking and setting up. Drive in, check if any one is at home. Friendly family. The only rule is, there isn't one. Good bus service, one way to Canterbury, other to Sandwich and onto, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate or Dover or Deal. Beautiful surroundings, watch the rabbits and different birds. The cost is £11 per night, all in. We will be back.

Worth a visit in my book

I enjoyed my a long weekend here. A very reasonable charge of ten pound  per night. The owner is a nice lady that was friendly and after ensuring that everything was in order, just let you get on to enjoy your stay. The site is level and water and waste is close to hand.  You do notice a little road noise in the evening but not enough to spoil my stay.

Value for Money

The site is sufficiently off the road not to be effected by it, so is quiet and peaceful and the facilities offered are more than adequate. The bus stops for Canterbury and Sandwich are within easy walking distance, the service was so good that we never used the car once during our stay.

Lovely, well kept little CL

This is an ideal stop for us for a weekend away. A nice flat well kept field. Easy access.  Horses in field next door.  Easy drive to historic Sandwich, Deal and Canterbury.   A bargain at £10 per night!

A Warm Friendly Welcome

June 2014. Stayed for a week, Caravan,Awning and 2 dogs. Easy access from main road from Canterbury to Deal. Road noise is apparent, but not excessive.Site is a grassed, flat spacious paddock with a high hedge on the left. With this in mine, most visitors set up on the right and run the electric leads across the paddock to get most of the sun. Water, waste and recycling point in the corner next to information board. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The site is perfectly situated for visiting Canterbury,Whitstable and Deal. At £10 a night it is a lovely little site ideally situated for pre or post channel crossings.

Highway robbery

Have just returned after spending 5 nights at t.his CL. The site was fine but the cost of £20 per night for 2 adults caravan awning and car was nothing more than robbery for basic Cl facilities.  I agree that I should have checked the price on booking, but this was overlooked on this occasion to my cost.  Fellow caravanners be warned.  The price is quoted as £10 subject to variation had the charge been £15 it would have been expensive.  I stayed on a club site with full facilities for less than £20

Lovely welcoming site

My wife and I have just spent 4 very pleasant days at this very nice well kept cl site.   This was our first time at the site and we will certainly return.  Very convenient for the coast and inland attractions.

GREAT LOCATION TO EXPLORE THE AREA

just got back from a long weekend and can confirm with other reviews that this is a nice site with easy access, run by nice couple who maintain the site well. expect some noise from the main road and neighbouring animals but we slept well enough. great wildlife park 5 minutes away and most places of intrest in a 15 mile radius so makes a great location to explore the area.
