perfect site and really friendly

great cl, and was perfect for a couple of days visiting oakwood and Tenby. Massive bonus having a clean well maintained toliet and shower block. Would certainly return. Didn't see many electric hookups for such a big field but we had one so had no reason to question how it works if it gets busier, but im sure they have a plan :)

It might have been nice in the past BUT NOT NOW!

We arrived at this site, where we found no signs at all informing you which of the tracks to drive along when leaving the road! On driving onto the site, yes the grass was nicely mown, but where was the water point, where were the elctric hook ups, where was the disposal point? Ah, the owner had installed a brand new fence infront of the bungalow you can see in the main picture and all these esential items were hidden away behind the fence!! The water point would be very difficult to get an Aqua Roll to and it would be impossible to use a pipe to fill up on-board tanks and as for the disposal point, it was simply a lift up cover on a drain with no screaning to restrict the splashes! The 2 houses overlooking the site are close together and if you want to use an EHU, you have to be pitched right next door to one of them! This site was clearly not as other reviews have suggested, so we left promptly. Oh and there was next to no dog walking that we could see from the site and the road alongside was really quite busy.

One of our favourites

Having stayed on CLs for 20 years or so, this is one of our favourites. Tucked away, easy to find with the added interest of the paddock with dicks hens and 2 adorable goats. The owners could not do enough and went out of their way when we had a mishap with missing items. Their knowledge of the area priceless. I would highly recommend this site to anyone. Take the back lanes to the coast which are so lovely. Amroth is well worth a visit and the walks plenty.

Great Views

Great Views This site is easy to find and good access. We were made very welcome by Mrs Hughes. Please note you will need levelling blocks and depending were you pitch you will need two hook up leads. When you join the A477from the site if you turn left not far up the road is a garage that sells everything, the toilet is useable it is shut at 10.30 (although sometimes it was closed before 10) we did not use the shower as we always use the one in our caravan. What I would say if you go when there has been a lot rain, park at the top of the field. We had to help a fellow member with our 4x4 who got bogged in; this was at the bottom of the field where it slopes. I would use your sat nav as you get near the site as the instructions are out of date on the web. Or Google it before you start. Yes we would use this site again.

What a Find

We came upon this site more by luck than anything else, following a let down with another CL in the same area, and thankful for it too. It is an all grass CL with pitches in 2 areas. Although it is slightly sloping we managed well enough without having to use a wheel ramp. The site has EHU, a toilet and a shower (50p for 8 mins) and all for £10 pn. There is a short footpath opposite the site for walking ones dog or one can use the frm' fields. It is easily accessed being about 1 ml off the new section of the A477 from St Clears to Pembroke Docks. Carmarthen, about 15 mls away, is the nearest place for one's main shopping, and has all the usual stores. There are many places of interest not far away, including 2 N/T properties - Colby Woodland Gardens and the Stackpole Estate - as well as good beaches and the coastal paths is not far away either. We will certainly us this peaceful, quiet site when we return to this area.

Spacious and Quiet

Lovely, large quiet site. Well kept grass and lots of space to park. Run by friendly helpful lady. Shower for only 50p is very clean and a welcome added bonus. Will certainly visit again.

Nice location for Oakwood and Folly Farm Attractions

Nice place for £10 per night all-in inc EHU. Lovely owner who sells thier own eggs, which must be seen to be believed. Shower and toilet good, 50p per shower, room closes at 10:30. Local pub in Red Roses serves an excellect Sunday lunch, nearby petrol station has corner shop layout, handy for reasonably prices provisions. Very good acccess for my 32ft motorhome, even with row car on the back. Booking recommended at peak periods. lovely view and plenty of space for the dog. Will definately return again.

Good access for larger rigs

The access for larger rigs (32 foot plus a car in tow) was very good, as it was 0.5 miles from a main A road, along a fairly wide B road. It was easy to swing into the entrance. Carry on up the track, passing the houses, on your left hand side. On entry into the farm court yard , take a left and go ahead into the field. Ther is flat parking to the left, or if you can park on a slight gradient, ahead is the power hock-up. Good access to water and drainage. Showers reasonable at 50p for 8 minutes, clean and tidy toilet. Very helpful owner. Good access to local activities of Tenby, Saundersfoot, Folley farm, and Oakwood. Try the eggs, you wont get fresher, or better. Cant wait to go back. At £10/night, (2012), well worthwile a visit.
