A Little Gem

What a fabulous CL the welcome was second to none Nick and Roz are the perfect hosts.we had a cup of tea made for us by their son Finlay who I must say makes a lovely cup of tea and brought to us on a tray with biscuits. The CL is immaculate which also has recycling facilities There is a train line near but didn’t bother us as the trees seem to block out most of the noise. It’s about 15 mins from the M5 if your going to Cornwall/Devon this is a fabulous place to stay Thankyou Roz and Nick and your 2 lovely boys Finlay and Oliver see you again Colin and Sandy

Peaceful nights.

Thank you Nick and Roz for such a friendly welcome after our long drive South. The site is spacious and immaculately kept, with a mix of level grass and hardstanding pitches. EHU to each pitch and plenty of room between each pitch. Good communication on booking, and prior to arrival. We will certainly use again if we travel down to Cornwall again. A much needed peaceful stop-over from the M5.

What a find!

There's lots to like about this gem of a CL. First thing I liked was the great communication with owners Ros and Nick, then I loved the welcome. A welcome which included a cup of tea immediately on arrival, and were not talking a nasty one in a plastic cup. Yes Ros and Nick I noticed the bone china M&S mug, served with chocolate digestives and custard creams on a cute wooden tray ;-). I am a Hotel Manager on a 1300 bedroom cruise ship and we call those memorable moments tiny noticeable things. Had a great stay, Nick even came out when I was packing up to say a personal goodbye. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Great cl

We love cls and this one is excellent. Easy access, spacious, clean and grass kept immaculate. Easy access to both Somerset and South Devon coastlines. Plenty to see in and around the area and Parsonage cider farm is 300 metres away. On site there is a recently planted wildflower meadow and plenty of room to walk the dog The owners Ros and Nick made us feel very welcome. This will definitely go on our returner list. Thanks Ros and Nick for a lovely, peaceful stay.

Friendly site helpful owner

Booked to stay for 7 nights but ended up staying 2 weeks due to a car problem. Rod could not have been more helpful, taking me shopping and trying to the dog find a local garage . Lovely large flat site easily accessible service point, Occasional train noise. Very dog friendly. Weather was fantastic which added to our enjoyment. Thanks Rod we will return if ever in the area again June and ken Green and Leo

Lovely cl

staying on this lovely cl until tomorrow - lovely cl made better by the glorious weather - very friendly welcome. The best pub we have found in the area is the Maypole Inn on the a38 toward Bridgwater. Very reasonably priced and dog friendly

Perfect site

Really lovely CL site, we would choose this type of site over larger ones every time.Rob was very firienfly, welcoming, quick to respond to our email enquiry. Quiet site. Trains go by occasionally but barely noticeable and we chose the pitch nearest the line. It is well screened by the hedge.Thoroughly recommended.

Beautifully kept site in lovely area

This is a well designed and very well kept site. The hardstandings are level, the taps etc are easily accessible and the surroundings are lovely. The site owner is very helpful and friendly, and there is a bus to Taunton/Glastonbury from outside the site if you don't have a car. So don't sit in a traffic jam on the M5 - come here and chill!

Excellent Friendly Site

Stayed here for one night in transit to the south coast. The owner was very friendly and the site was very tidy and clean. As previously mentioned a little railway noise but not through the night. The local pubs all really need driving to as the roads are narrow and no footpaths. We will certainly call back and stay for longer as it was a lovely site with 3 hard standings and 2 grass pitches
