Beautiful CL in a perfect location.

We had lovely a weekend at this great new CL on the outskirts of the pretty village of Smarden. We had a nice sunny spot in amongst some trees and hedges. It was very peaceful and having three pubs plus the other village amenities just a short walk away was a big bonus. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back for another stay.

Peaceful weekend away.

Stayed mid May 2022 in 8m motorhome. Only one other guest in caravan. Great little CL site situated in woodland. Facilities are what you’d expect. Chemical loo disposal point and drinking water. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay. £20 a night included EHU. Ate at Chequers pub on the Friday night - excellent meal and had a drink in Flying Horse Saturday. (Food looked good) - both are less than 10 minute walk away along quiet country road. Public footpaths just along lane for dog walks. Smarden is a beautiful Kentish village well worth a wonder around. We will be back.

Great site in lovely location

We were the first guests at this new site. We only live a couple of miles away and were visiting relatives who live in the village but had we travelled from afar we would not have been disappointed! Smarden is a lovely village and there are 3 good pubs within a few minutes walk of the site plus all the attractions that The Garden of England offers. The site is on a very quiet lane and the pitches are well spaced out between trees. There are a number of footpaths and the surrounding roads are very popular with cyclists. We will definitely be returning soon and look forward to another warm welcome, hopefully the sun will be shining next time.
