Very warm welcome from the owners. Professionally run and well organised. Excellent clean facilities. Highly recommended.
Best CL bar none
The best/nicest CL we`ve stayed at in 30 years of caravanning. The owners clearly know what modern day caravanners and motorhomers require, so have designed their CL to meet all of those requirements and more! Special mention must go to the two individual `bathrooms` (1 x male and 1 x female) both complete with toilet, washbasin, shower, piping hot radiators, and piped music, these facilities are to such a high standard, both in cleanliness and design, that they wouldn`t look out of place in a luxury modern showhome
The whole of the site is immaculate, the attention to detail is second to none, and has surely been a labour of love to the friendly helpful owners, Martin & Debbie

Immaculate site with lovely showers.
The site is very well maintained, with neatly cut grass, serviced pitches (apart from water, which is planned for next year) and the cleanest shower and toilet block you could wish for! The shower block was warm even in the coldest weather, with piped music and it was immaculately clean. We felt that the shower rooms don't need to be male and female but could be unisex, so that a couple can share toiletries, and one could be showering whilst the other is drying, so saving time especially if the site is full - although we never had to queue. Just a thought!
We did find the road rather noisy during the day but it wasn't so bad at night and we actually slept very well. We loved the ducks and donkeys, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We found it a very professional site, with an office and a small shop for essentials.
We have stayed on sites with metered electricity before, but mainly in the summer, and were surprised at how quickly the meter ran out. The allowance was 10 units per day / ÂŁ21 a week. We were out most of the time, as we were visiting relatives over Christmas, but we did find the electricity to be more than we had expected, topping it up by ÂŁ15 (effectively, this was for 4 days as we were out for 3 days).
We'd certainly stop over again to visit relatives or on a journey north.
Excellent CL
We had a lovely 5 night stay here at the end of November. The site is beautiful with the pond and the donkeys and a large field for your dogs to run around in. The facilities are second to none they are clean, warm and well maintained. We had many a long and interesting walk around Cannock Chase with our dog an area which we had not explored before. The scenery was amazing and we loved to see the deer too. Martin an Deborah couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful the site was easy to find and is fully secure with an electronic barrier to get in and out.We have only given the site 2 stars for peace and tranquility as that was the only disappointing part of our holiday it is next to a very busy main road that is a direct link to hospitals and is quite noisy with ambulances etc. We will be back as it is an area that we want to explore further.

Best loos we have seen in 45 years. Lovely site
Very welcoming, well kept, clean site. Excellent in every regard. We have only awarded 4 campsites across the UK and Europe a star in 45 years. This site is number 5.

A really good CL!!
What a gem of a site! All facilities that you may need for a motorhome. In winter months 10 units per day may not be enough ( you are on a meter) but bearing that in mind it is a sheer joy staying on this site. Cannock Chase, with its lovely walks, is close by and the local pub not too far away. The 5 H/S pitches are clearly marked and in the next field is a seating area next to the pond , which in the summer would be a delight to sit by.
Motorhomer.
Amazing site
Had a great long weekend with the dogs. Facilities are immaculate. The field was fantastic for the dogs to let off steam. Highly recommended.
Well looked after site
Very well looked after site. Very good shower and toilet facilities. Well spaced pitches with gravel and grass. Nice pond and paddock areas. Only slight negative is the road noise although you quickly become accustomed to it and it wasn't very busy overnight. Right on the doorstep of Cannock Chase.
Best ever
We stopped here for three nights in September 22, after touring from our home in Dorset on a round trip to Inverness. First time here but what a fabulous site .Deborah and Martin are such lovely hosts, really genuine. The facilities are brilliant and spotless, great area to tour around, and in the mornings waking up to the ducks and donkeys being fed is great. Will be back again in 2023.

Fantastic two night stay
Had a fantastic 2 night stay at this lovey Cl. Wonderful welcome from Martin and Deborah on arrival everything explained clearly and a welcome pack with everything you could need was also provided. Loved the grounds, the secure dog paddock and the provision of toys for the dogs was a lovely touch. This was our first visit and won’t be our last.
