In need of a bit of a spruce up

We stayed one night here as a stop over. It is a basic CL servicing your needs. Electric , Water , Waste disposal. The owner was very friendly and laid back. I just felt it needed a bit of TLC. The field is flat but the grass was a bit long and rutted. The drinking water tap is on a slope and surrounded by nettles. The waste sewer lid cover was broken. The cost for the night is now £17 and the instructions in the handbook are a bit misleading

Lovely little site

What a lovely little site. Sue and Len made us feel very welcome. We had our little Granddaughter with us, and she really loved being shown some of the animals, finding out there names and learning a little about them . We stayed for a weekend, arriving on Saturday and leaving on Monday. We were aware of the proximity of the A140, when we booked, but it never really bothered us. The site itself, was very quiet, especially considering it is a working farm. Lots of lovely walks, straight from the site, and All Saints, a very pretty parish church ,opposite the site entrance. The site is nice and level, and well kept. The hedges were taller than on the gallery photographs, and we would have loved the one along the east side of the field to have been a little lower, which would have afforded us some lovely views of the surrounding countryside. A perfect site for some much needed chill out time. Very relaxed , and we will be returning.

Excellent CL

A basic, well kept CL with level pitches and friendly helpful owners. A little bit of traffic noise but nothing too intrusive. We enjoyed our weeks stay in July and will revisit if we are in the area again.

Another fantastic holiday

Thank you Len, Sue and Emma for making us so welcome again and special thanks to you Len when we had puncture. This site is unbelievable, very spacious, flat, well mown grass, but the most unbelievable thing is apart from other visitors for the odd night or two, for three weeks we were on our own, just cannot understand it but very nice for us. We were there for most of June. Suffolk in itself is well worth a visit, lots of things and places to go, nice walks, good beaches, picturesque towns and villages.

The perfect CL

I was hesitant in leaving a review as I didn’t want to share this great find ;) This really is one of the best CLs we have visited. We were greeted by the owner who helped us reverse our van as we went the wrong way, thank you Len! Weather was awful for our stay but the site and pitch was well drained. Lovely spacious pitches with lovely dog walks nearby. Very quiet and peaceful location with good access to A140. We will definitely be returning and very soon.

Another lovely stay

Just a couple of nights, but another lovely stay. We waited for the weather to improve, and after a few days of sun the footpaths around the area were just fine for dog walking. Lovely welcome from the family, and enjoyed the goose eggs, one does two of us, they are huge! The scenery is so pretty, the whole area is great to pootle about in walking and in the car. Shopping in Diss has all you need, and a nice relaxing town to visit, with plenty of eating places, shops and a lovely lake to sit by. Left with a dozen eggs from the white hens too. Will def be back, just amazed we were the only caravan there at the time, though others had been that week. Lots of animals to see, sheep with lambs, cattle, pigs, chickens, geese and guinea fowl, and a truly relaxing spot with relaxed owners, who are most at ease with our well behaved happy dogs not having to be tied up. We got over the A140 a number of times to walk without issues, you have to dash for sure, it isn’t so far away but the site is very well sheltered from any intrusive noise. We’ll be back!!

Nice Visit

Stayed for 3 nights. Owners were friendly and helpful. Lovely for a rest and the tranquillity. However, the walks are mainly bridleways so a little difficult if not able bodied. Pubs we were told of were not too far, but to cross the A140 would be a nightmare. Would recommend this well kept site.
