If you're a CL type of person, why wouldn't you stay here!?!

This was our first visit to a site (mid-2023) since getting our caravan and we loved it. The location was great (walkable to local pub, local shop - as in 2-3 minutes away, as well as the Gressenhall Museum). It was easy to get to (we were coming from Bedfordshire), you do get country road practise but that's no bad thing, and the access / entry was well sign-posted and had plenty of turning in/out space and visibility. Your pitch location is indicated with a label bearing your name - which way round you pitch is up to you pretty much. Ours backed onto the post and rail which had the electric hook up easily accessible attached to it. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy and the water (separate drinking and non-drinking supplies) and emptying out facilities were nearby. Mr Bunnings was lovely to talk with and some of the barns store some interesting vintage vehicles. We'll definitely be back as it's a great site, in a great location and at a great price.

Best CL site ever

We have stayed at a lot of CL sites in our time but this has to be the best. The hosts are extremely friendly nothing is too much trouble (even leant us a ladder so we could wash the roof of our motorhome). The site is clean and tidy lovely flowers and a lot of tlc. There are people working nearby and they always say hello. Toilets and showers are basic but do the job very well in fact great showers. I cannot believe we only paid £10 it makes me wonder what I am paying for on the other sites especially those with less facilities. Will definitely be back wonderful place.

It is a lovely, friendly and easy going site. Mr Bunnings is very helpful, and greeted us with some funny stories nothing seemed too much trouble even given us a worthwhile tour of the site. The site is very well kept including named pitches and the use of a clean toilet and shower block. Gressenhall has one small but well stocked shop/post office and a pub. Easy access to Dereham and Fakenham with lots of villages around. We would highly recommend this site. Unbeatable value at £8 a night which included EHU. Simes and Jules

Fabulous Site, so laid back and very friendly

We have just returned from a week on this site, along with our 2 dogs. It is the most lovely, friendly and easy going site. Mr Bunnings is very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and such an interesting man. The site is very well kept with named pitches and the use of a toilet and shower. Gressenhall itself is a very pretty village with 1 small but well stocked shop and a pub that is currently closed but being renovated. Easy access to Dereham and Fakenham with lots of villages around. As big walkers we explored the surrounding areas following the Nar Valley walk and the Wensum Way walk, along with following our walking app. A lot of the walks are on country lanes so a little harder to let the dogs off as often as we liked, but none the less we had some great walks. We loved our week here and would highly recommend it whether you want a week or a few days away. Such amazing value too!

Great little site

Stopped here for 3 nights after visiting club site. With friends who had never been to a Cl before. We were welcomed by Mr Bunnings the owner and shown to our pitches then informed of all facilities. The toilet was clean and the shower although looked dated was fantastic. Mr Bunnings is a very interesting chap and if you get an offer of a tour please take it. The site is next door to the owners factory so bit of noise during the day but not too bad. No rush to collect fee which at £8 is probably the best value site we have been on. For the cost of one night on club site we had 3 nights here and change! The pub in the village is closed but the village is trying to get it up and running again in the next few year, there is a small post office which carries limited supplies, some nice walks in area on quite roads along with route 13 cycle way into East Dereham about 3 miles away. Will certainly return again.

Love this site

We loved this little CL. Central location in the lovely village of Gressenhall. Good open site, well cut grass even at the beginning of April. Great kids play area just down the road on the playing field. We had a personal tour of the Bunning factory, which was exceptional. Mr Bunning clearly has a passion for his business and it shows. The skill and workmanship that goes into it is also outstanding, it was great of him to spare the time to show us around, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Toilets/shower looking a little tired but still very usable. 100% a site we will return to and a bargain at £8 per night. Can't wait to return, thank you for a lovely stay.

.gem of a site

Stayed here with our caravan over the weekend of 20/21 September and loved it.The site is adjacent to some stables, which are the location of the men's and ladies toilets and also the shower. These are spotless and the shower is free! All this in a charming village and for £6 per night. The best value CL we have stayed on for many years.A credit to the owners.
