Fabulous!

We stayed for five nights in our motorhome at the end of October. We can only endorse all the positive comments and endorsements for this absolutely delightful CL. The previous reviewers' feedback regarding the locality/bus/physical aspects and meat of the site we totally agree with. There is not much we can add to the well deserved praise and credit. It is all spot on and cannot be faulted, but the jewels in the crown of this site (as so many previous reviewers highlight) are the owners. The world would be a happier and better place if there were more Charlottes and Chrises. Quite the most delightful people we met in seven weeks of touring around. Thank you. Please start to listen to us all, Charlotte, you are doing a FABULOUS job.

Short autumn break

We stayed for three nights on the Tudge farm recently and really enjoyed the experience. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The bus stops outside the farm entrance and makes Ludlow and Leominster easily accessible. From there you can bus to Hereford or further afield. Ludlow Castle is well worth a visit and is quiet at this time of year. There are walks from the farm to Richard’s Castle and beyond through beautiful countryside. Their home produced meats are delicious, especially the award winning sausages. Go on, spoil yourselves and visit the Bury for a relaxing break on a working farm in the Shropshire countryside.

First Class

Our first time on a CL and what a revelation. Fabulous countryside, lovely walks from the site and last but not least, charming and helpful owners. Bus will stop outside farm and a ten minute ride into Ludlow. It was a heatwave when we arrived and whilst the rest of the population were queuing on the M4/5 trying to get to the coast, we relaxed in idyllic surroundings with only the wind rustling the barley. Inexpensive site but be warned, the farm produces rare breed pork products, and once tasted you could well end up with a fridge full of sausages, burgers and joints to bring back home. A nice touch is Charlotte does a freshly baked cream tea that is delivered to your van at a time of your choice. All in all, a charming friendly site well worth a visit. The all singing and dancing megasites will never seem the same again.

Super CL in beautiful surroundings

Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us to the choice of hardstanding pitches which overlooked the surrounding fields. the farm specialises in rare breed pork which is a must for those who enjoy a BBQ. The CL is in effect fully services and is a gem. We will be back as soon as we are able. Chris abd Rob Branson

Amazing best ever CL site!

We stayed for 8 nights at the end of May 21 What a warm welcome from Charlotte as we pulled up on the site! We’ve been caravanning for over 30 years and it has to be our best find ever. It’s tranquil, has outstanding views, fabulous burgers, sausages and sausage rolls! Charlotte and Chris were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and Charlotte is an amazing cake maker, having surprised my husband with a delicious light birthday cake as it was his birthday the day before we arrived! The local area was easily accessible and we cycled the whole week from the site. Can’t wait to revisit.

Really Lovely CL

This site has to be one of the best CL’s on the network, great views, flat well drained hardstanding, with water electric and grey water disposal on your pitch, neatly cut grass for your awning and no tailings. Charlotte and Chris could not be more welcoming and their home farm produced pork products are second to none, the sausages patties and bacon we had were first class. We were sad to leave but if we are in the area again we know we’re we will be pitching. Thanks Charlotte for a great week.

Superb Location

Just back from a two night stay at The Bury (9th, 10th June 2021) and can highly recommend this lovely CL. After a warm welcome from Charlotte we settled in and enjoyed a walk along the footpath through what is a beautiful working farm. The view from the pitches (all hardstanding) is amazing and there is easy access into the historic town of Ludlow, a visit to the castle is a must and there are plenty of good places to eat. If you want a peaceful site with superb views then this is hard to beat and you won't regret booking in. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Lovely welcomng CLsite

We stayed here from 30th booked in for 3 nights. It is a most peaceful and beautiful spot. Nicest site we have stayed in made even better by the friendlines of Charlotte and her family. They helped us with maps, recommendations and any advice. We bought their own bacon, sausage and eggs which were wonderful and full of flavour. Never managed a cream tea on this occasion but next time......We left on the Sunday night as heavy rain forecast the next day and Charlotte insisted on giving us some pork and venison burgers at no cost as we had paid for 3 nights. This was so generous and kind. I am looking forward to trying these. Highly recommended. Marie and Brian

Excellent site

We’ve just left this site after a lovely 6 day break. Easy access to the site from the A49 and a lovely welcome from Charlotte started our break. Hard standing pitches with grassed area for awning or relaxing and water and electric to each pitch, ideal. Charlotte explained that we could order sausages, bacon, pork and venison which we duly did, the sausages and bacon were delicious (not yet tried the venison and the gammon joint we ordered looks so good I’m tempted to pop it in the freezer for Christmas). Charlotte also makes delicious scones, so moorish with jam and clotted cream. It’s close to Ludlow with its markets, shops and restaurants and there are lots of villages close by which are well worth visiting. It is a working farm but we were not disturbed at all and everyone we came into contact with was friendly and pleasant. We will definitely return to this site.
