Nirvana is here.....

What a splendid campsite for our family rally! Spotless shower and toilets and a beautiful location. The welcome from Gail and David is warm and very helpful. Although TV reception is poor they provide a satellite connection. For my motorhome with a built in TV monitor it wasn't going to be possible to connect, but they weren't going to let that beat them! David turns up with a spare TV for us to use for the duration if our stay! However the World Cup had just started and the rest is history for the game against Italy. So hoping for better in the games ahead? So which other CL have you been to that has hospitality on this scale? I haven't experienced one, so this is my vote for CL of the year. Please don't let anyone know about this because I want to return and return......!     :)

Peace and quiet :)

We have just got home today from a peaceful bank holiday weekend at this lovely CL. Only 3 pitches were in use, nice and quiet and so green with fabulous views and a small river running alongside the site. Two toilets and one shower, which were immaculately clean, the heater in the shower room was most welcome for our first evening when it was a bit chilly! The site is new and so is very tidy, new shrubs have been planted which indicate the border of your pitch. The pitches are large with plenty of room for an awning, although we didn't put ours up this time. Within 5 minutes drive of Tywyn, a quiet seaside town, but with a couple of places for lunch and a dog friendly beach :) We found the water to be a bit strange tasting, so bought bottled water for drinking, but of course, that is just our opinion!

Lovely site

Fairly new site, next to a pretty stream, in a village setting with plenty to do and see nearby. Warm and friendly welcome from Gail and Dave who were keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay, but weren't intrusive. The large grass pitches were a bit wet following a winter of rain, but we were offered a hardstanding pitch. Improvements to the site are still in progress, such as the planting of shrubs etc and tv satelite boosters were being installed during our stay. Water/ waste disposal etc within easy reach of all pitches. There are two toilets and a shower, all of them spotlessly clean and with a plentiful supply of handsoap, towels, toilet rolls. Don't be put off by the proximity of a road next to the site as it's a minor road with very little traffic and it didn't disturb us at all. We had a lovely relaxing long weekend and we will definitely return to this site.

A weeks holiday in north Wales

This is a great site, we arrived at 3ish after a 5hr drive. Dave and Gail the site owners were really helpful and a pleasant couple, the site is new this year,I believe that we may even have been the first to use it though a couple with a Hymer turned up for three days during our weeks stay. The facilities are good, with a laid road leading to all five pitches accross the site. There was plenty to do and see,Tywyn is a busy seaside town and the beach is lovely, great sunsets over the sea. Machynlleth is just south and so is Aberdovey which is another good place to visit, Portmeirion to the north the place where the prisoner was filmed, and only 20 minutes drive to the east you are in the mountains. We would recommend this site for over night or a weeks stay.
