Sunny Easter Break

Finding this CL was easy, following the directions for the site, and the entrance is nice and wide. There are two pitching areas a more sheltered area with hard standing pitches or the second area which has grass and a couple of hard standing pitches. This area has some lovely views across the fields to the hills. There is some slight road noise, depending on the wind direction, but otherwise it's quiet. The pitches are large so lots of space, & there are well spaced water points. The bins, including re cycling and cdp are clean and tidy. Dawn was very welcoming and gave us a useful info pack. There are some great walks directly from thd site, including down to the river Severn where we walked along the Severn way. There is also a friendly pub within walking distance We visited Stourport, which is a pleasant town and has a Lidl and Tesco for shopping. There is also a good Farm shop on the road into Stourport . This is a lovely CL and the owners have put in a lot of work. We will definitely use again as there is still a lot more to do in the area.

Wonderful site

Excellent location, quiet site with lots of space per pitch and very well kept. Great welcome, friendly owner and very useful local information. Email communication to book was fast, easy and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Perfect stop over site for us

We love this site as it’s a perfect stop over point for us on our way to Wales, Devon or Cornwall. Always a privilege to stay here and our dogs love it too!

The Old Orchard

This lovely site at Ombersley was an ideal base for us to explore the surrounding area, with such attractions as The Severn Valley Railway, Worcester and Tewksbury all within reasonable travelling distances. Although we didn't do much walking from the site there were plenty of paths to do so.The site access is very good and there is a choice of grass and hardstanding pitches all of which have easy access to water and they have there own electric supply and all are very well spaced . The pitches were all very level and the grass pitches were all well drained so no problems getting on and off site. The views from the site where very good and look across open farmland to the hills beyond weather permitting you will get some great sunsets . The information packs are excellent and the site owners where very freindly and helpful.I would recommend using this site to anyone wishing to stay in the area

Great site!

Easy access to massive, hedged pitches, nicely kept grass and good recycling facilities, great views, and peace and quiet, yet easy to access village with facilities, buses to Worcester and Kidderminster a short walk away. Great site!

Superb CL

A fantastic site kept tidy and clean. Superb frontal views over open countryside. What we really enjoyed was the peace and quiet and the evening sunsets. The owner Dawn was very friendly and helpful, popping round now and again to see if we were ok. The local village is superb with a few nice pubs and a fantastic deli selling lots of goodies. The towns of Stourport and Droitwich are 15-minute drives away if you need shops and supermarkets. The canal walks in this area are endless with many places of interest and a highlight for us was a trip and a walk in the Malvern Hills.

Fantastic Site

We have recently returned from 10 days on this wonderful site. Yes the weather was idyllic which helped but I can't recommend this site enough. Peaceful, views to die for. If you have a dog then it is superb with access directly from the site round the surrounding fields. All facilities are maintained to a very high standard and the owner is friendly but not intrusive. We will certainly be back.

A really fab site

Stayed here for 3 nights on the way back from Scotland. It was a real joy. Plenty to do and visit in the area. The site was very well kept and level so easy pitching. A choice of grass or hard standing. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return and spend longer.

An excellent CL

Great location; wonderful views; plenty of space between pitches & overall, a well-planned layout with first-class infrastructure. We were made very welcome by Dawn & Martin and their team of helpers (both 2- and 4-legged!). 'The Fruiterers' Arms' is a friendly local pub (with on-site micro-brewery) just 20 minutes' walk away. Droitwich Heritage Centre is well worth a visit, also the market at Ludlow (especially the pork sausages from D W Wall & Sons' Butchers). Highly recommended. For a real 'art-deco' retro blast, visit the 'Regal' cinema at Tenbury Wells - an absolute gem, built in 1937 and lovingly restored to full working order.
