A Gem of a Site

Lovely site, well kept & clean, lovely owners - nothing is too much trouble. The site is set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of country walks straight from the site. Nearby is the national trust property, Gunby Hall which is well worth a visit. A few miles further afield is the vast beaches of the east coast including Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards, Sutton on Sea & Mablethorpe. All offer shopping and great traditional seaside experiences not forgetting fish & chips! The nearest town is Spilsby with numerous pubs, restaurants and 2 supermarkets. Wainfleet is in the opposite direction and has a brewery and a CO-OP & is well worth a visit. All in all a fabulous site in a fabulous location. Highly recommended.

5star CL

Just returned from a wonderful 3 nights on this jewel of a CL. Such a warm and friendly welcome from Andy and Sarah and family who are rightly proud of their site and are keen to continue to evolve it. A beautiful, immaculate site close to Gunby Hall and the coast. Had a lovely meal at a nearby pub and a pleasant walk from the site with our 2 dogs. We will most definitely be back- as long as we can get on it as we don’t think it will be long before folks flock there!

Simply the best

After 40 years of motorhoming we think that this is one of the best, if not THE best small site we have been to in this country. Beautifully kept and landscaped by the wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and gave lots of information about area. Very large area but strictly 5 vans, so plenty of space. Obviously nice and flat! Lovely pond with new covered seating area to relax in day or evening with a cuppa or glass of something stronger. Thanks to Sarah and Andy. Loathed to tell everybody about this cracking site really!!

A new favourite

This is a very thoughtfully put together new site and the owners are still making improvements - putting a pergola up for some shade during our stay. We stayed with a caravan and in the cottage and all of us had a great time. We received a friendly welcome from Sarah and Andy and they are both happy to answer questions and give recommendations. The site and facilities are beautifully kept and we didn’t need levellers when pitching. We enjoyed our strolls down to see the chickens and around the large pond, the shepherd’s hut also looks a welcoming space to spend some time relaxing. Thanks Sarah and Andy, hope to see you again soon.

A hidden jem in Lincolnshire

A lovely site We we met by the owner on arrival Sarah who is very friendly and helpful we later met Andy really nice people. The site is very well maintained and is perfect in every way. It is peaceful hidden away in the village of firsby. The site has good water waste area under cover and is clean and layed out safely with sanitiser jell. There is a nice large pond with fish decking and seats and near by an Information shepards hut which finishes the area of nicely. This is the ideal place to unwind for every day stresses of life and we will definitely be back in the near future with are dog. We we had more time to stay longer.
