Stayed here for two nights and found it ok but fairly underwhelming. The first thing to note is that if you are using the electric hook up, it is actually £24 per night, not £20. We had the field to ourselves and there were two toilets and showers for exclusive use, which was good. These were clean although the light in one of them did not work. The grass was short and the ground flat where we parked. We hired a bbq for £10, which was helpful as we had forgotten our own. We had a friendly welcome and were shown round by the owner and we were given a 10% off voucher for a local pub. Otherwise, the
entrance into the site is a real mess, ramshackle fence panels, overgrown weeds and junk. There is no view beyond the field from any angle except of two large and dilapidated greenhouses near the toilet facilities. The sound of road traffic is pretty constant. I'm sure it's fine if you're using it as a base to visit local spots but if it's your destination, I would imagine there are a lot prettier, quieter places.
