Perfect tranquil site a short walk from Hay. Dog friendly.

Beautiful position about 10 to 15 minute walk to Hay. Very quiet. Plugged in next to friends and enjoyed a glorious long weekend. Will come back.

Lovely CL

July 2019. It was not an easy site to find. The road signs could be better, but once you're there it is time to relax. Very nice welcome by both Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Excellent site for dogs. In walking distance of the lovely "town of books." WC + shower (coins) could be cleaned better.

Lovely CL

Just returned from a fanastic weekend at this lovely CL. 10 minutes walk away, Hay is a very special little town with walking shops, book shops and dog friendly pubs (we enjoyed our meal at the Blue Boar). There is a Co-op within walking distance too. We walked Hay Bluff on Saturday, an amazing walk. All pitches have fabulous views, the facilities (toilet and shower) are plain but completely servicable. Friendly hosts and the eggs that were left on our caravan step were a lovely touch. Thank you

Be aware of hidden extras.

Lovely location and views, however was surprised on paying we were asked to pay an extra £2.50 per night for a dog. There was no mention of this on the website, or the Caravan Club or in the information room. All quoted £15 a night with no extras listed. As this now made it £17.50 a night I found this expensive for the facilities on offer. There was no dog walk or dog waste bins to warrant this additional payment.

What A Great CL

We stayed at Tirmynach Farm CL in April and had a cracking week. The views are stunning and the site is just a short walk from Hay-on-Wye. The site is well laid out which plenty of space and has all you need of a CL. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The walking from here is outstanding, you can see the walks we covered whilst staying here on our blog www.twodogsandanawning

Can't wait to return

We turned up on spec, hoping to stop one night. Stayed two nights and didn't want to leave. The setting and views were amazing. Worth the rent just for the view. Easy walk in to Hay. Lots of walking available from the site. Can't wait to return.

OHHHHHHH BLISSSSSSS.

We have stayed on many CL's but wasn't ready for this setting. Well marked at the start of the lane just off the main road and yes like nearly all other CL's you pray your coming down the right track. Awaiting you is such a lovely family, a really kind welcome. Where to go as the electric hooks are well spaced giving you all the space you want. the views.......I'm still not over them, just sat there amazed and thank you to the Williams for sharing. Never been to this area before,phewwww. Great village Hay. Make sure you get ice cream from main place other wise your life has been wasted. Same goes for the chip shop. But the river, BRING A KAYAK!!

Review

This is a beautiful location with a very warm and friendly arrival and support during the stay. Unfortunately the lane to the Farm is narrow but significantly overgrown which resulted in a significant number of scratches down the walls and windows of our motorhome. I mentioned it but it remained the same until we left. I'm not sure what control the owners have over cutting the vegetation in the lane, but I wouldn't return unless confident it had been resolved. The toilet building would have benefited from a little closer attention - cleaning, running out of toilet roll and an unserviceable light. All that said, a beautiful location.
