Brilliant CL.

This CL is just wonderful. It is on a working farm, yes there is a little bit of goings on, but nothing that would spoil your stay. Richard welcomed us and also is knowledgeable about his local area and can give directions anywhere and if you’re not sure on anything he can help. The pitches are very big and on hard standing and when we were there the site wasnt busy. Blackpool is a short drive away, St Anne’s is also a drive away. We were out most of the time, walking on the lovely beaches and also visiting Blackpool itself. We were there this weekend and said we will go back just to chill in the lovely surroundings. I wasn’t going to write a review as I don’t want everyone knowing about this little gem of site! I cannot wait to visit again. Thankyou Richard, we will see you soon. Mick, Ange and Sue.

Fantastic site

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this site. After reading the reviews, we were a bit apprehensive due to some of the negative comments. We shouldnt have been.... Yes we noticed a farm yard smell on arrival, however it was not at all overbearing and on the 2nd day we didnt notice it at all. Richard met us in the rain and took time to explain where everything was, the mains water hook up was an added bonus :). Richard advised we may hear th pigs early in the morning, I can say we didnt. Yes the site is on a working farm, yes there is some noise, but who sits in the van all day when there is so much to see and do in the area. If you are looking for a great CL, close to Blackpool and all its attractions staying here is a must.

Little Gem

My husband and I booked this site as a last minute booking on our way home from where we had been for 3 nights. What a little Gem of a site. Lovely working Farm. Beautiful surrounding fields. 3 good walk paths. One with a shop at the end. 1km The owners were so welcoming on our arrival and gave us a genuine please return on our good bye. Only had 1 night spare this time due to work commitments but we will be going back and staying for a few days longer next time. Out side W C very clean. So peaceful. Excellent tv reception and internet spot on. The owners goal is to ensure you are happy and we certainly were very happy. Thank You for the pleasure of pitching up on your wonderful Farm Perfection. Tidy little site

This is a tidy little site, well-kept by the very friendly owners. A couple of the (better) pitches were occupied by unoccupied vans for several days of our stay - the owners were presumably coming back for another stay in the not-too-distant future - but it did mean that new arrivals had a limited choice of pitch. We had views of some lovely sunsets through the trees.

Well run and tidy site

We have just returned from 4 days in May 2021 at this site. Warm welcome by the owner. Everything well maintained, neat and tidy. (Including the best engineered Elsan point I have come across in 50 years of caravanning). The whole farm is clearly well managed. Very peaceful and quiet. The occasional train half a mile away which you can barely hear. Yes, it is a working farm, as is clearly stated before you book, so expect the occasional farm noises, and odours if the wind is in the "wrong" direction, but nothing we found unacceptable. Good walking in the area. 20 minute walk west to Staining, where there is well stocked McColls, and bus services to Blackpool, Preston and Fleetwood (No 20 and 75), and 40 minutes north to Poulton where there is a selection of shops. Stanley Park and Blackpool Zoo within an hours walk. We will certainly return. Nice relaxing place to be, run by a very pleasant and helpful family.

We loved your little caravan site....

Written as requested by Liam after his recent stay on our site. I just wanted to say we all loved your little caravan site. When we arrived my mover wouldnt work so Richard kindly reversed the caravan on the pitch for me. The site was perfect for what we needed. The earlier reviews about the smell and noise were, in my opinion, rubbish. Our son Noah liked hearing the pigs as he walked past. Also the lady who let Noah go and see her 2 horses was lovely and kind. He also really like the little footpath through the woods. Safe to say we will deffo be back. Thank you for the lovely week we had at your site. Regards Liam Cally Noah and sienna

Perfect

We stayed here Friday till Sunday. On arrival we were greeted by Richard the owner. He was very friendly made a fuss of our two borders and told us where everything was, all the dog walks, places of interest shops etc. We set up near the trees with views of Blackpool tower and endless fields. We asked if we could have a barbecue and there was no problem. We had a wonderful time. Plenty of walks, not too far from the nearest town. Richard came to see if we were alright , we had a good natter and told us of a show nearby if we wanted to go. The toilet was spotless and having a chemical wasted disposal meant we could go home with an empty one. With two wonderful hosts Richard and his lovely wife, this will not be our last visit here. Thank you so much.

Ideal for Blackpool ....

Well done to site owner Richard who provided a warm welcome on arrival. We are just coming to the end of 4 days on site and it is an excellent base from which to explore Blackpool. We read some of the reviews about smell and noise but we're glad we took them with a pinch of salt. It is a working farm so some of both is to be expected. Excellent hard standing pitches, clean loo and good views and shade combined. Richard even tried to help us repair our motor home step.

On the Doorstep of Everywhere.

We loved our stay so much we extended it with good reason. We sadly could not afford to live in such a beautiful area so to stay there for such a reasonable amount is Bliss. We were met by Richard who kindly showed us to our pitch and welcomed us to his farm. Yes. hard to find a spot in such lovely countryside and it not be a working farm and Richard reminds you of this but we never found it to be a bother. Ample hard standing, yet we were told its fine to pitch the awning on the grass part of your pitch...Perfect. Water on tap so bring your own equipment to suit and also a single electric point as well for your own use. Here's what we could not get over is that you a so near everything ,if you walk down the public footpath from the farm you will see Blackpool Tower and the Windmill that dominates the entrance to Blackpool. If you continue down the track you will find a MC'Alls shop with about everything you may need without getting the car out. Large supermarkets are all near to hand as well. Suited us down to the ground so we will be regular visitors. Thank you to Richard and Kath.
