Great site

Stayed here for 3 days in May. Great size pitches and loved the way that when you arrived there was a board in entrance telling you where you had to pitch. Facilities were very good and clean and basically you were left to your own devices. Had to have a car to visit Betws town which is a lovely town. great for walking. Also if you go here you can buy eggs from the farm which are outside in a box and they were delicious.

Spectacular views

This is a CL on top of the world with 360 degree views. It is all grass but flat with each pitch serviced with EHU and a tap. You reach the CL by driving through the small commercial site (15 pitches) attached (the CL is really an extension of the main site). Facilities are shared with main site. A well maintained block with one shower, one loo for men and one shower, two loos for women and a family/disabled room. There is a pub and restaurant , the Y Giler Arms, just a 10 minute walk away that is currently open evenings only. This site is a perfect base for accessing North West Wale's attractions.

Excellent site, well-maintained

Found this little treasure after having climbed (half way) up Snowdon. Great views, immaculate facilities, helpful owners, very good value for money. Would definitely visit again.

Fabulous views!

Agree with previous comment about not really a CL site, that said it was a great little site with views to die for all around.  Although the CL part was full (5) the other side was not full which didn't therefore cause a problem with only having 1 shower in the ladies, there was another in the disabled toilet.  For peace and quiet and access to north wales it's an ideal site.  Would definately recommend a stop here.

NICE, BUT NOT REALLY A CL???

The 'blurb' for this site says ' small commercial site adjacent'. I think this is rather misleading as you have to drive through this to get to the CL site at the end of the field. Only a couple of hedges partly separating the other 15 pitches. You have to walk through the commercial site ( tents allowed ) to use the facilities. As we have only been caravanners for 14 months, we found this a bit odd. Maybe it's more common than we know. Having said that, it is a nice location, nice site, nice clean facilities. Although one male toilet, two female and one shower cubicle each for 20 caravans doesn't seem enough.

Fantastic site

We arrived on this site on the 12/6/2016 and stayed for 6 nights, although it is a cl site the location for us was great, with level ground, stunning views, and the toilets and shower was immaculate and very pristine,The site owners Mr Mrs Jones are lovely people and also there is a great little pub that serves great beer and good food only a couple of hundred yards away.Would we stay again at this site YES YES YES

Secluded spot with great access to surrounding areas

Great views from the CL. The CL has a small commercial site adjacent, though the benefits of this is that there is a great little toilet and shower facility which are very clean and well kept. Beautiful views overlooking the Welsh countryside. A local pub, approx. 5 mins walks away that opens at 18.00 most evenings. The surrounding area has much to offer, whether a coffee and cake in nearby Betws- Y- Coed, walking in the welsh forests or driving through the Snowdonia range. Plenty of walks available. Llyn Brening is also nearby. Perfect spot for a relaxing break

Fantastic find

We loved this campsite and will come back again when we are in the area. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, the facilities were great, modern, clean and attractive. The views across to the mountains on one side and the moors on the other were breathtaking. Beautiful.

One of the best CLs we have stopped on.

My wife and I stayed on this site from 9th Aug to the 17th and if we did not have to be back we would have certainly stayed longer. Mr and Mrs Jones very helpfull and friendly. The facilities were very clean.Quiet site with wonderful views all round.  The next time we are in this part of Wales this is where we will be staying.

stunning

Stunning location beautiful views of the welsh countryside. Well kept site small Cl with small commercial site adjacent. The Cl was quite small but adequate. felt a little cramped at times when full quota of 5 vans in place, probably felt more so as there was loads of space on the commercial site that only had 2-3 vans in an area that would take about 15. we didn't see the owners during our 6 night stay but it is a working farm and we didn't need to see them. Toilet block is immaculate. great location for touring north Wales. Recommend Bodnant gardens NT spectacular. Local pub friendly but nothing too exciting. Would certainly return to this site if we are in the area.
