One of the best!

Nothing but good things to say about this perfect CL. We stayed for over a week and enjoyed the peace and tranquility, the walks and cycle rides direct from the site, the tremendous views and the friendliness of our host Delphine who gave us lots of advice on local walks and places to eat. We’ll definitely be back!

Just how a CL should be

Beautiful, peaceful little CL. We had it to ourselves for 3 nights and it was a complete delight. Great to have recycling boxes and a watertight box containing maps and local information. Delphine welcomed us shortly after our arrival and didn't disturb us again, although we knew we could call on her if needed. If you need a reminder about our green and pleasant land, this is the place to come.

Delightful.

Quite simply the best site we have ever stayed at. Had the place to ourselves the whole time. If it's peace and quiet you want, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the site for you. Owners made us very welcome and our two girls loved being lost in the middle of nowhere. It really is a gem and we definitely will return.

An excellent away-from-it-all site

This is a really delightful site, set deep in South Shropshire's beautiful countryside. It is well-placed for walking, especially along Offa's Dyke, and also surrounded by perfect cycling country if you like plenty of hills. Towing through Clun to get to the site can be a bit tight, but it is well worth it. We have been twice, most recently for four nights, and look forward to visiting again.

Easter 2017

Just returned from 6 lovely nights on this great little site. Level grass- very well maintained, clean and obviously cared-for. Beautiful peaceful surroundings- just the sound of the sheep and the little stream. Delphine is lovely! helpful, welcoming and very knowledgable about the local area & kindly lent me some maps. Great walking to be had nearby, and some good on and off road cycling too. It's really rural here; just a scattering of farms and small villages set in beautiful hilly wooded countryside and lanes- a proper relaxing spot; a get-away-from-it-all with the added benefit of no mobile phone signal! Decent local pubs serving good food and beer. A good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and sights. Highly recommended!

Excellent

Quiet, peaceful site and a lot of thought and effort gone into the facilities. Delphine and Ted, the owners, were very helpful in every way.

Brilliant

Just stayed on this site for 2 weeks. Peaceful, lovely views, quiet, Delphine & Ted friendly and helpful. No phone signal but on holiday. Sat dish worked well for TV. Would go back any time.

Perfect CL

Just stayed at this cl. Perfect for us. Peace and tranquility and a beautiful view up the clun valley. Helpful and welcoming owners.  Good food pub nearby, the Radnorshire Arms.

This is a lovely little site with the most beautiful views of the surrounding countryside imaginable. Gorgeous sunsets and the sheep were the perfect neighbours. A true escape from reality with no phone or tv signal it was lovely to know you would not be disturbed. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and we had the site all to ourselves for the first couple of the days.
