A lovely site
We spent 10 nights here in September (during the heatwave!) and thoroughly enjoyed the site, and the area too. It is everything you would expect from a rural CL. It is an ideal base to explore the Shropshire Hills, and there are easy walks from the site into Bishops Castle, as well as quiet lanes for cycling. Bruce and Anne were really welcoming and helpful, and happy to chat if you wanted to whilst they got on with looking after their horses, sheep, ducks, etc etc!
The large flat grass pitches are separated by longer grass which was cut for hay for the horses whilst we were there, but that was good to see as nothing is being wasted, and Bruce spent ages raking the turned grass back off the pitches to keep everything tidy. The facilties are perfect and I won't re-iterate all that has been said before, suffice to say when we next visit the area we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Bruce and Anne, you have a lovely place.
