Secoond visit

Our second visit to this lovely CL. It's very convenient for visiting relatives close by and this time we made it in summer. Penny and Tony were as welcoming as before are the nicest people. The site is spotlessly clean, as are the facilities and we all, including Flo the dog, love the wild flower meadow. As it is a new site and the shrubs and trees have yet to establish you can see that in not a very long time this will be even more beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed both our stays and expect to return shortly. First class CL in every way. thank you.

Great Find

Quite a local site for us, under an hour from home so perfect for a weekend get away. We arrived to find a very accessible entrance and a warm friendly welcome from Tony. The site is very well laid out, the pitches are spacious & staggered with lots of space between them. Great sized hard standings with an abundance of grass all around. Tony & Penny have made an excellent job of setting this site out. There are a variety of shrubs and plants to make your surroundings very pleasant. Two water points, recycling and chemical waste point, all spotlessly clean. Tony is a very likeable & helpful chap and although we only met Penny on one occasion she is a lovely bubbly lady. On arrival Tony gave us some local information which is very helpful. We tried local, The Rose & Crown, just around the corner, 2 minutes drive away or can be reached via a walk across the fields. You must try it, delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere  very friendly plus a roaring log fire which was very welcome on a chilly evening. The farm shop is a 5-10 minute minute walk away, selling delicious local produce, cheeses, meats, fresh bread etc. There are plenty of lovely country pubs & restaurants to choose from in surrounding villages.  Dering woods are just along the road and many other walks are all around. Short drive to the little shop in Pluckley and not too far to bigger shops in Ashford, Tenterden and nearby Headcorn . We will definitely be returning to this lovely site, thank you Penny & Tony for sharing your place in the country with us. Hopefully see you soon ??

March 2016

Lovely quiet site with level hard standing pitches and easy access.  Penny and Tony are very welcoming and helpful, (Tony came to the rescue when our mover failed).  The site is well kept and has some trees and shrubs planted which will mature with time.   The Rose & Crown pub is just over 10 minutes walk away and has good food and beers.  There is a farm shop a few minutes drive away.  We enjoyed a week at this site using it as a base to explore the region and to relax in peace and quiet.

July twice

We used this site as an overnight stop when using the channel tunnel on both our outward and inward journeys. The site is new with good sized hard standing pitches, access is easy and the welcome was friendly. The site is already good and will only improve as it matures.

A very happy experience !

On arrival we were greeted warmly and given a choice of pitch and because it was quiet Tony suggested we use an empty hard standing for the car. The site is immaculately maintained and the wild meadow in front of the dog walk is lovely. Penny and Tony have a wealth of local information which we found most useful. The entrance is very accessible for the bigger units like ours.We asked Tony for a closer look at his magnificent classic coaches and he even allowed us to climb aboard!!! If you are happy to use your own facilities this site is hard to beat and Penny and Tony are available but never intrusive! Thank you both for a wonderful 2 weeks.

Lovely site very well set out and maintained.  All hardstandings and lots of green open space.  Tony was an excellent host providing us with a welcome pack including map and local details. An ideal CL for a peaceful stay in lovely Kent
