The best CL we have stayed on

As the title, this CL is simply superb. Spotlessly clean and tidy throughout, water on level pitches, beautiful surroundings and the only sound was the birds. Great walks from the site, several nearby pubs within walking distance for active types and adults only allowed. Owners exceedingly helpful and friendly. Sheer bliss.

Lovely peaceful site

Our first stay here and we will definitely return. We arrived mid afternoon and found our pitch with it s lovely welcome board. Sarah came down later to check all was Ok and was very friendly and helpful. Our dog loved the meadow and we enjoyed the local walks. The facilities are clean and the pitches nice and level. Lovely to have water at the pitch. Our particular recommendation is the local vineyard which we walked to and enjoyed wine tasting. We are calling to pick up our wine on the way home. We have also driven over to the coast and had no problem parking our 7m van at the car park at Sizewell. At night sit and watch the glorious sunsets in beautiful tranquil surroundings.

Lovely CL

Great CL, friendly and helpful owners, lovely location. If you like peace and quiet with good walks from the CL you need to stay here. The pitches are level and large with great views, there's a useful information piont including walking maps. Dogs can run free in the meadow and there's miles of walks through fields and quiet country lanes. If this CL was closer to home we would be regular visitors. Highly recommended.

Excellent First Overnight

Booked this site for our first overnight in our new campervan on the basis of previous reviews. Very peaceful. We watched Buzzards and a Hare from our open door. The unseasonal warm weather was a bonus. The site is well organised, well kept and extremely clean. The owners are very welcoming and helpful regarding local walks etc. The Indian takeaway they recommended delivered an excellent meal to our pitch within an hour of us ordering. Thank you Sarah and David. We will be using your site on a regular basis!

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed 2 nights at this lovely site. Sarah was very welcoming on arrival and was happy to assist with maps and directions for local walks to nearby villages. We enjoyed a lovely walk with our dog across the Suffolk countryside directly from the site to Framingham a delightful market town with a Castle. We can also highly recommend the local Indian takeaway which will deliver directly to your pitch. We will see you again as we will definitely be returning.

Immaculate site with great views

A very well thought out and immaculately maintained site. The hard standing ( and level) pitches are peacefully located and have great views. There is also the benefit of free wi-fi which during our stay offered a good strong signal. Sarah and David ( site owners) are friendly and helpful and have clearly put a lot of thought into the layout of the CL. Our booking was promptly attended to with excellent pre arrival information and directions. There are great walks directly from the site which Cosmo ( our dog) enjoyed as did we! We will be back.

Beautiful site

Came here on the 27th December. After a long hold up on the M25 and the A12 got here as its getting dark. We followed the very accurate directions on site and parked up on a good level immaculate quite new site. Whilst setting up Sarah(the site owner) came out said hello and made sure we were familiar with the sites facilities. The owners are amazing and very friendly the site is awesome. Writing this Whilst still here as we're thinking of extending our stay as its so nice here. The surrounding villages and places to visit are great and if like us are dog owners lots of walks from the site. They have walks and other information in the information tray by gate and free WiFi which is a bonus. Its a fantastic place come find out for yourself you won't be disappointed

If you love peace and quiet - this CL is perfect

The Waterpump CL is among the nicest CL’s we have stayed at, and we have done a few! We spent two weeks at the site in this tranquil and scenic part of Suffolk. It’s thoughtfully designed, with hard standings and grass, water close to each pitch, recycling baskets and brilliant free wi-fi. Great views in the daytime and at night the skies are pitch dark, ideal for watching satellites, the international space station or just star gazing. We loved the walks and cycle rides on quiet lanes from the site and also travelled further afield to the coast. Sarah and Dave are the perfect hosts and made us feel most welcome, as did Sarah’s parents. On our last night we wandered back from the pub, listening to owls, a bellowing stag, Does calling their fawns and a vixen in the distance. For us it doesn’t get any better but be aware, there are no buses or taxis and shops are a drive away. Framlingham is not too far, certainly cyclable and has a lot to offer. We will certainly be back!

One to visit, don't miss out!!

Visited two weeks ago ,what a superb site set in the heart of Suffolk with beautiful country walks on your door step. If you want peace and tranquility then this is for you, at the end of the day a short four minute walk to the local pub is an absolute must serving great food and real ales. A nice touch on arrival was a welcoming slate on your pitch with your name on. Sarah and David were the perfect hosts very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area . Will definitely visit again when we are next in this area. 😊👍

Waterpump

A quality new site with 2 grass pitches for summer use and 3 hardstanding pitches (5 for the winter). Access from the main road is on a blind bend and therefore should always be from the East. If approaching from the West take a short detour by turning left into Badingham village by the pub and taking the next 2 turns to the right to bring you back onto the main road to the East of the entrance. The site is very quiet and well away from the road with a nice view of the countryside. Walking and cycling from the site is very good. There is no shop in Badingham but there are in other villages which can be reached by bike. Useful information on routes and places to go and eat are provided on the site.
