Simply the best!

This was our first visit to Weatheroaks Farm, and we can’t praise this site enough! Judith and Graham are very proud of their CL, and rightly so. It’s an amazing place! The surrounding scenery is breathtaking while the fishing lakes attract all manner of birds and wildlife. 6 pools to fish in gives you plenty of choice. The local area has a fabulous garden centre, plus a reasonably priced garage where you can get anything you need for your stay.plenty of nearby attractions and historical towns to keep the non fishing people happy too. Please note, this CL is fully serviced, with beautifully kept exclusive toilet and shower facilities, it is adults only, and included in the nightly fee, free fishing on the small lake nearest the CL site. We can’t recommend this site highly enough, Judith and Graham are great hosts and more than happy to help should you need it. We’ll certainly plan to visit again as soon as possible!

Peaceful and Friendly. Well Positioned for days out

We had a 3 night stay in our Motorhome. It was easy to find, easy to access as pre-communication was excellent (Gate code etc). The weather was amazing which always helps. We found it extremely peaceful, very pleasant surroundings The Fishing was good. The Fox Inn nearby in Chaddersley Corbett is excellent value for money and great quality food Rowberry's Garden Centre was excellent, great for your BBQ needs and fresh produce. The Cafe looked popular but we didnt get time to visit.. next time. We will definitely be returning soon

Short stay to visit Worcester

We have just spent 3 nights at Weatheroak in order to explore the area and found ourselves alone on this lovely well kept site. It is also a fishing venue with several ponds used by a local club. After they had left in the evening we had the place to ourselves and it was pleasant to wander around the pools watching the ducks and looking for “risers”. Graham advised us as to local places to visit and we spent a couple of days in Worcester and more locally in a castle used by the many Archbishops of that Cathedral city. Worcester is a lovely city and the Cathedral splendid in its riverside setting. Well worth the visit. The bus can be hailed from the end of the farm track and the train caught at Kidderminster every hour. We will certainly return as there are many other places of interest in the area and Weatheroak farm is ideally positioned in the County to access them. Many thanks to Graham and Judith.

Absolutely great site

We paid our third visit to this site from 16 to 20 April 2021. It is so peaceful, picturesque and very well maintained by Graham and Judith, who are lovely people. The site is very secure and with hard standing, serviced pitches, it is a great place to explore the surrounding area. Worcester and the Malvern Hills are quite close by. The pitches look across fishing lakes and Monday produced the first swallow! There is a great farm shop and garden centre in the pleasant village of Chaddesley Corbett, which also has a great pub (the Fox) and a filling station with the cheapest fuel for miles. We would have stayed longer if we could, but had to get back. We can thoroughly recommend this site.

What a gem!

We have stayed at Weatheroak quite a few times now. It is an absolute gem of a CL site, so peaceful, and we always feel chilled at the end of our stay. Graham and Judith are lovely, hard working people, always willing to chat and making sure everything is ok. Access is gained through a coded barrier and along a gravelled drive. The site has 5 very large gravelled pitches and each one has electricity, water and waste water drainage. There are separate ladies and gents’ toilets and a separate block with shower room, toilet and wash basin and washing-up facilities. There are also picnic benches if you don’t want to get your chairs out. There are 6 well stocked pools which we love to walk around, especially of an evening. The fish seem to know that the fishermen have gone home and you can often see them cruising around the lake - and there are some whoppers! The fishermen are very friendly and are happy with the lakes. There are several walks close to the site and our favourite takes us up through Chaddesley Woods, down into Chaddesley Corbett where we buy a newspaper and then into the pub for lunch! Rowberry’s Garden Centre is just down the road as well. We can’t praise this site enough and just hope that we can continue to be able to get a pitch when we want to. Thanks Judith and Graham, see you again soon.

Absolutely top notch!

What a wonderful CL. Graham and Judith have worked hard to create a wonderful site. All pitches are hard standing, and all are 'super' pitches with electricity, water and grey waste facilities on every site. Add to that separate ladies and gents toilets, and a separate shower room / toilet, then this site has everything. No dogs and no children admittedly, but that suits many of us. The walk round the fishing lakes is relaxing, and if you are a fisherman, then it must be your dream site! An added bonus is no light pollution at night, and the peace and quiet. Graham is often around, and we had several good chats together. The site is easy to find, but it is sometimes easy to accidently overshoot coming from the Bromsgrove direction. I believe Graham is putting up extra signage. If you do overshoot, a short distance down the road is a roundabout, so you can double back - as I did!!! Position wise, it is ideal for either those wishing to visit Birmingham (train from Kidderminster, which is only a few miles away) or visiting the wonderful surrounding countryside. I must recommend Bewdley. The Severn runs through this small market town, and rarely have I been to a more perfect small town. For me, the highlight was the Museum, which was a delight, and opened out onto the Queen Elizabeth the second gardens. A 'must' for anyone. Slightly further afield, Shropshire beckons, and those 'Blue Remembered Hills' adorn the skyline, especially if you can find the 'Larch Barn' tearooms and plant centre, which is somewhere in the middle of nowhere, near Cleobury Mortimer - (I must admit to being lost when I found it - but so well worth finding) Must just mention the Indian restaurant on the road to Bromsgrove. Excellent Indian food! Whether you are looking for a relaxing time, a visit to Birmingham (Christmas shopping maybe??? - the site is open all year) or to visit the myriad of interests that surround this CL, then this is the site for you. I shall definitely be back.

1ST TIME AT THIS SITE

We booked this cl as a stopover for 2 nights on way to cornwall and could not have picked a more perfect site. It is only a 10 min drive from jct 1 on m42 through Bromsgrove and close to various places of interest. On entry to site is a security gate with keypad which the owners will give you the code when you ring. The pitches are hard standing gravel with your own tap electric and waste water point. There is a male and female toilet which were spotless and there is a seperate shower which was free to use.We booked to stay 1 night on way back home. We would certinitly book this cl again.if you like fishing this is great site as it has a choice of fishing lakes.
