Lovely Site

My husband and I spent the first week in July at White House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our pet hate is a site where the caravans are in rows so this one was perfect for us as we had a private corner and it felt like we had our own back garden! None of our neighbours could see into our awning. The site was very easy to find and has a lovely wide access. We had a walk to Wood Norton directly from the site and visited Swanton Novers Nature Reserve just a couple of miles down the road. We also went to Sheringham Park (National Trust), Holkham Beach - Wells next the Sea, RSPB Snettisham and Morston Quay to Blakeney. There are so many places to visit in the area we could really have done with a second week! The only slight downside to the site is there is some road noise but having said that, it is very secluded and this would not stop us visiting again.

Great CL to explore area

This is a really well kept site, loads of room between pitches and friendly welcome. Countryside is beautiful, perfect for cycling or walking. Spotted red kite, buzzards, green woodpecker and yellow hammer while out and plenty of birds on site including a wren nesting. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Peace and Tranquility

We stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of June and felt thoroughly relaxed from the moment we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome by Mr. Knights, who was also extremely informative about the local area. The site is beautifully kept and the pitches very well spaced. The site is also an ideal base for visiting many places of interest, including Sandringham and The Broads as well as the obvious North Norfolk coast. A super site !

Spring Visit.

The peaceful site is easily reach being less than a couple of miles along a quiet lane off the A1067 between Fakenham & Norfolk. The grass pitches are in a spacious well sheltered lawned orchard behind the house with hedges on 3 sides, and there are also a couple of H/S pitches too. There is a footpath behind the site which makes a good dog walk. There is a small shop at Guist, but the nearest supermarkets are in Fakenham about 6 mls a way. There are plenty of places to visit in the area but one does have to drive to them. Although we arrived after an extended period of heavy rain and the ground was rather soft we were guided onto a good pitch by the very helpful owner, and the land had dried out by the time we left 5 days later. Can definitely recommend this site for those that want peaceful pleasant surroundings.

A well maintained, spacious site!

We have just enjoyed eight nights on this CL, and will definitely be going again. A lovely, large, lawned area surrounded by trees and hedges, well maintained, the waste and rubbish disposal all in a clean, neat, fenced area, and the pitches are marked, which is very helpful as it ensures space between caravans. We received a friendly welcome, and the info leaflet which arrived with our booking confirmation was also helpful.

peace in the countryside

A warm welcome and pitch all waiting for you.Lawned site or hard standing with plenty of space.A lovely pond alive with wildlife and flowers. I would recommend this site to all seeking peace with facilities within a few miles. Visit Pensthorpe wildlife centre just up the road.
