When we first pulled into the driveway of the farm, we were a little surprised to see that the pitches were along the side of this long driveway and in order to get to them you had to drive between trees lining the beautiful avenue / driveway. But it was not a problem and as the driveway is sloping downhill, the owner has cut into the hillside so that the pitches are level with really good space between each pitch so really quite private. Each has EHU, water on tap and waste drainage. There are views all around and it is SO peaceful! We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be returning. In fact we would go as far to say that this was the best CL we have ever stayed at! There are rubbish bins on site and the toilet is a little walk further down the driveway towards the farmhouse on the left in a little gated courtyard area. Spacious, clean, light and airy. There is also a shower on site however we never found this as we showered in our van given we had a fully serviced pitch with water on tap. Idyllic. We even saw a baby calf born across the way in the adjoining farm. Debbie was very friendly when we knocked to pay on our penultimate day. Very hospitable and not in your face which we quite like. We couldn't believe that we were the only ones staying here over a bank holiday weekend as there are such lovely places to visit nearby all within a stones throw - especially if you are into walking as we are. And what a lovely base to do it all from. Can't rate this place highly enough. Wondeful! Had everything we needed.
