Amazing

We have just spent 7 nights here. Everything was perfect, from the friendly helpful owner, spotless site and fantastic views. Will definitely be returning. The owners do the Caravan Club proud

What a lovely cl this is!

Last week we visited this cl for the second time and liked it even more. The farmer and his family go out of their way to be helpful and are very friendly and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil and the area is great. The moors, the coastline and Whitby...all lovely. The visiting fish and chip van on a Tuesday evening is well worth patronising. We're planning to go again next year, and the next and the next!!

Perfect!

What a fantastic CL, beautiful location, great facilities and helpful owner. Pitches angled to take in the view and so as not to overlook neighbours, also south facing. Not near a main road so really quiet. Lots of lovely walks, 9 miles to Whitby and coast. If you haven't been to this area before be prepared for the VERY steep hills and make sure you plan your routes well! Very accommodating for dogs and lots of fantastic cycle routes (if you like to pedal up hill!) Make the effort with the hills and go stay there!

Wild Slack

Chose this site as first trip for a "born again caravanner"! Wanted a nice quiet site not too far from home and close to a variety of interesting attractions - Whitby,North York Moors Railway,Traditional Villages etc. Lots of good reviews confirmed this site as the one for me. The farmer Mr.Foord came straight out to welcome us, helped choose a suitable pitch and provided assistance in levelling - including the use of his own vehicle. Real old world hospitality. We will be visiting this site again!

Lovely Views

Being a long time Whitbyholic I was looking forward to my 1st break of the year on this site which is around 10 miles from Whitby itself. The site which is a farm is very relaxing and the farmer very helpful. We took our dog on wonderful walks and one particular walk down to the local pub (serves a lovely scrumpy) which was about a mile away, but be warned its a mile downhill getting there but a mile back uphill which will give you an excellent cardio workout. Really cannot fault the area of the site and would defo consider going there again later in the year

We'll be back!

We had a lovely week at this site earlier this month. It is very quiet and tranquil and the owner, Martin was very helpful and welcoming. The facilities are basic but adequate. There are lovely walks around the lanes, up onto the moors or down the hill into the lovely village, Lealholm with it's good pub....nice food, dog friendly and with WiFi. We will definitely return as soon as we can.
