Peace and tranquility

Just spent a lovely relaxing weekend here. The lady is welcoming and friendly. There is a lovely quirky pub in easy walking distance that is almost fully refurbished. All in all, exactly what we wanted. So quiet you can even hear the insects. If all you want is somewhere to pitch, chill, and relax then it is ideal.

Katy's Delight

What a lovely peaceful and quiet site.  Our greyhound asks to come here most weekends Lovely large hard standing areas, plus lots of grass.  Lovely wild meadow to look out on at the moment.  See the lady walk her greyhounds.  We have stayed here quite a few weekends in the last 4 months and will be returning for lots more weekends.  Water and bins/recycling both close by and chemical point area by gate has just been tidied up so no more muddy boots.

Nice quiet C.L

Have just spent 3 nights on this site and found it very quiet and peaceful (apart from the noise of the birds in the morning) with a friendly site owner. There are 5 gravel based hard standings available as well as grass pitches all in a line along 1 edge of the field. The rest of the site is planted with wild flowers which should look good when they come out.T.V is fair with a directional aerial. All in all a lovely site for those of us that like the quiet life.

Ideal quiet site

A lovely site with good access & both well separated hard standings and a large grassed area for use when the weather is better. The individual EHU’s are well placed, unlike so many CL’s where they are grouped together in one area. These are only rated at 6 Amp, but I believe that is fair for the price charged. It caused me no problem as I simply ran the heating on the 1Kw setting & gas as the temperature dropped to -6oC. It could be a problem for those expect to run everything on electric, together with a fan heater in the awning. A ‘wild meadow’ & hedges encourage the large variety of bird & other wild life, which makes this an ideal site for those of us that appreciate simply getting away from it all.

All ok.

Not far from where we live, just went to get the caravan up and running for spring, nice big field, plenty of room for the dogs, not much scenery, would be nice in the summer sunny aspect, and cheap, pub and indian restaurant not far, lots of places to visit.
