Fantastic find

A great find. Very friendly owners that came to check we were ok. We were visiting friends in Northallerton nearby.. However, this is a site we would easily come back to anyway! The enclosed dog walk is fantastic for off-the-lead fun. Quite with great views and suitable for both Caravans and Motorhomes with easy access. I popped the drone up so I could show friends what a super spot this was. https://youtu.be/5fuhQ-UXLYs

What a location!!

Wiske Moor with its great views towards the Moors and Dales and so convenient for visiting so many places was a real gem of a find. Julie is a lovely host. Large pitches and well kept facilities in peaceful surroundings all within a few minutes drive of Northallerton. Well worth a return visit. Alan and Jackie

Peaceful, flat site with lovely views. Convenient to town

Just returned home from a lovely four night stay at Wiske Moor Farm CL. A fantastic site, on a working farm, with good countryside views (beautiful sunsets). The pitches are flat with EHU and there are the usual water and disposal points. Good value for money too. Wiske Moor is very easy to find with good access from nearby Northallerton, yet quiet and peaceful. We had a great welcome and useful info from owner Julie on arrival. A big thank you to her husband Mark who quickly came to help us out with his jump leads when our car battery had died. Well worth the trip and we would recommend Wiske Moor for a tranquil break in Yorkshire.

A Very Well Kept CL

We really enjoyed our 7 nights stay at this excellently well kept peacefully set CL site. We have never been to a CL where the owner keeps the sewer and bin area so spotlessly clean, attending to it daily. The pitches are well spaced out, clearly numbered and we had Number 4 with views over the valley, amazing sunsets, sheep and curious young cows. Thankyou.

The perfect site!

We had an amazing 7 days on this site and have already booked a return visit! Fantastic views with amazing sunsets, together with watching the lambs playing in the adjoining field makes this CL almost idyllic. Easy access to Northallerton (complete with a Wetherspoons!) and had a great couple of testing walks along the nearby Cleveland Way. The waste and disposal service areas were immaculate and a credit to Julie the owner, even had hand sanitiser available! Pitch sizes are really generous, with 2 of them hard standing. The main rail line down in the valley was no more than a gentle hum, even at night.

Great Site

This site is amongst our favourites for location. It has the perfect balance for exploring the surrounding area, It is close to Northallerton yet still in the countryside. This has good road links off the A167 and the approaching road is still a decent size for passing traffic. The entrance is wide and leads onto a small track that leads leftwards to the gated caravan site. The communication is very organised on this site that makes arrival very easy. The site is very clean, has dog walking field, and has good waste points/recycling. Entrance to the site (What3words): ///decrease.playfully.behalf

Wonderful site !!!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Wiske moor, given we had 60 mph winds, driving rain and snow the site held up well and is well drained and the hard standing pitches were a blessing. The site is well laid out and maintained with 2 level hard standing pitches and additional grass ones all with EHU and within a post and rail paddock. In one corner of the paddock is water, waste, chemical waste and recycle bins all very clean and tidy. The market town of Northallerton is a short drive away (approx 3 miles) and has a nice high street, supermarkets and a very good garden centre on the route back to site. From the initial booking with Julie the owner to additional information pre arrival on site ……this is definitely a 5 star site and we look forward to returning in the new year.

Great Site

We booked for 3 nights and stayed 6 something we have not done before. The site was immaculately kept and the grass well cut and a lovely friendly owner who sanitised all the taps, dustbin lid handles and gate handles every day. We had one of the two new hard standings that have been put in this year, a generous size and plenty of room to swing in without going on the grass. The recycling facilities were comprehensive and the chemical waste was the best I have seen on any CL. We will be returning.

Our first CL stay, oh my word. One word - silence. Bliss.

We only stayed here 1 night and this was our first CL stay, my word what a great choice. We were enroute to Northumberland and needed a stop over so a hook up was all we required. The silence was deafening! This I loved. We were hoping for a clear sky as it would be a great location for star gazing. Super clean / tidy and well connected for access to pretty much everything in Northallerton which is a lovely town. Plenty of space for manoeuvring and a level hard standing. Grass also available. Great communication for booking and on the day of arrival with a instructions via text and a visit later on that day to check all was ok. Also exchanged a few emails about local pubs in case we wanted to go out for dinner. We went and collected fish and chips from what has to be one of thee best chippies I’ve been to in a long time - White Horse Cafe, and if you like scraps just ask!
