Ease of arrival/welcome

Pleasant site but long grass

After going along a short rough track past a rather scruffy parking area for fishermen/women the area opens out into a large expanse of grass to the left of the lake. There is now a small wooden building containing a toilet and whb with a disabled facility that was currently unfinished and inaccessible. The grass was rather long; the only areas cut were around the tap and the cdp/waste bin where the long grass cuttings and nettles had been left on the ground. At £6 it was excellent value. The directions state "Turn right at sp Witham Friary" but there is no signpost! However the road is obvious. On arrival I was not asked to show my membership card.
