Easily one of the nicest sites I’ve ever stayed on
A lovely site with everything you could ever need, the people that run it are lovely and clearly nothing was a problem. Has everything you could want and it’s pristine.

What a stunner of a site
Everything you expect from a CL and then some more. Immaculately kept site with loads of room. Very quiet and peaceful yet the road to all the local sites is right next to the site. We heard no road noise all the time we were there. There is a toilet and shower on site which are both kept clean and tidy and there was absolutely loads of hot water.
Good facilities for waste water (both grey and chemical) and very good WiFi. There is even a fenced dog walking area which was a real bonus.
The owners are very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.
Would recommend without hesitation.
Great site in great location
Just returned from a 6 night stay at Woodlands, it’s a lovely site with stunning views from the pitches. It was easy to visit Wells, Glastonbury and all other beautiful locations, the site was easy to find and nice big entrance. The site is just off the main road but is secure, we were provided with a key fob which automatically opens the gate when coming and going. The shower and toilet looked clean but we used our own facilities, the service points and bin areas immaculate. The site has two fields one is the club CL and the other a small commercial site, both had hard standing or grass pitches to choose from and you could stay on either. We chose to stay on the CL as it had larger pitches but we were warned the Wi-Fi reception was not as good as the commercial site however it was very poor to non existent which was a shame. the CL field was very uneven as you travel to the grass pitches but the pitches themselves were even. The grass on the CL was quite long and did need cutting as we noticed the commercial site had been cut and was quite short. They also have a great enclosed dog walking area and would definitely recommend this site but think the CL needs the same attention to detail as the commercial site.
Attractive and really well maintained site in excellent location
We stayed for 2 nights recently as our ‘motorhome initiation’. We will be very happy Motorhomes if all sites are like this. The location is great, close to a main road but still quiet and with clean and accessible on-site facilities. Kathy and Joe take great pride in what they do and we’re friendly and helpful hosts. The local scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of good walks for all levels of fitness from the site on lanes and quieter footpaths too. Wells and Glastonbury also within easy reach.
Perfect
A wonderful CL in a beautiful party of the country. The site is immaculate and the owners take pride in what they do. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Great dog walking field on site which again is kept really clean. Easy access by bus to a host of places of you don't have a car with you. We can't recommended Woodlands highly enough.
Gem of a CL in Somerset
Beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean site.
The facilities were immaculate at all times. The owners were constantly checking, cleaning and mowing, resulting in a very pleasurable stay all round.
The site benefits from absolutely stunning views and is a super location for visiting the nearby places of interest, Cheddar Gorge - Glastonbury - Weston-Super-Mare - Wells.
The owners Joe and Kathy were dedicated to making our stay a success and a pleasure. This they achieved and more.
We will definitely use this site again when we are in the area.
A lovely surprise
Having experienced a number of CLs on our travels, it is with trepidation sometimes that you’re visiting a new one. Shouldn’t have worried. Kathy was very welcoming and allowed us to choose from a couple of hardstandings or the grass pitches down in the bottom field. The shower and toilet were spotless. Loved Wells and some of the surrounding villages but Glastonbury Festival was looming the following day so it was time for us to leave before the mayhem commenced. Both Kathy and Joe keep the site immaculate and deserve the accolades given in these reviews. We would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay
Rural idyll
Well kept site with grass mown regularly. We have a new caravan so I was revelling in our new shower. Hubby used the toilet and shower facilities and said they were spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for Kathy and Jo they definitely go the extra mile. Many thanks for our great 2 weeks holiday this May. Will visit again if in that area.
Fantastic CL Site
Just spent the week at this beautiful CL, Kathy & Jo were very welcoming and easy going, told us to park wherever we liked and let us know the rules of the site. Shower & toilet were super clean as was the inclosed chemical waste area. Loads of beautiful walks around the Mendips/Cheddar Gorge area. Wells/Glastonbury are great places to visit with lots of coffee/cake shops. We don't normally go back to the same CL as there are so many nice sites around the country but I would definitely book again and recommend to others. A very well kept CL and one of the best we have stayed at.
This is not a peaceful and characterful CL

the next hard standing we had temporarily put the car on just to avoid set up accidents when using your movers.
You cant face that way !!
So had to turn the caravan around to keep the peace.
What a very poor greeting so we found another site and left
This CL has at least 15 pitches not a genuine CL.
