Had a super visit to Exebridge - calm, quiet and tranquil.
It is somewhat remoter than I had anticipated and so I would recommend others are well stocked up before arriving although saying that there is a good Co-op, greengrocers, chemists, cake shop and fish and chip shop in Dulverton! The local pub - literally minutes from the camp site was also super.
Although calm, quiet and tranquil, I can imagine that for families with very small children (or teenagers) there might not be a lot to do at the campsite or in the immediate area. This was a good base for exploring Exmoor.
We did find that the service point was much further away from our pitch than we'd ever had before and so had to position our caravan in a slightly incorrect position as otherwise we would have had no power during our stay - extra long cables are a must for many pitches!
System for C19 was well managed and we were reassured with the toilets, showers and sinks being cleaned twice a day - thanks!
After the heavy rain that we had had, the grass pitches were rather wet but this couldn't be helped!
As new members to the Caravan Club, I would like to see additional generic guidance to dog owners - as we had an unpleasant situation. But in absolute fairness to the site, they can't be responsible for the poor behaviour of the other campers!
