Lovely little Site.

Just got home from x3 nights at this lovely little Site, we wish it could have been longer. Warm welcome from the very friendly Wardens on arrival and beyond, plus they were common sense people as well. Pitch was plenty big enough for our motorhome, awning and hire car plus it was level. Spotlessly clean facilities, never had to queue which is always good. Nice and quiet, lots of Bird life and rabbits. We will return.

Dorset Delight

Stayed at Haycraft for the first time - mainly to see the Heritage Diesels Weekend on the Swanage railway . Weather was perfect , and the site was only a 10min walk to Harmons Cross station, with trains to Swanage and Corfe , both of which are worth visiting.  There are some very good walks as well , we walked into Corfe , and did some of the South West Coast Path from Durlston Park , which is also worth a visit.  As others have all said , it's a lovely clean , friendly site ,which we will no doubt visit again .  Nick B .

Weekend getaway

We stayed at this site over the last bank holiday weekend and found the wardens both helpful and friendly. The pitches were very well set out, facilities spotless and the dog walk a good size. Visits to Swanage and Corfe Castle via the lovely steam railway only a short walk down the hill and highly recommend both as places to visit, especially if you get the reduced train tickets from site reception. Well sign posted public footpath walks just outside the site made for a very enjoyable visit and one marked for a return visit very soon.

Another visit

We've visited this very small but perfectly formed site numerous times in the 9 years we've been caravanning. It is probably one of the nicest we know - clean, immaculately kept by the new wardens, bright and breezy. We had some glorious weather too, which helped. Swanage is old-style seaside resort, Studland has the most magnificent beach with very shallow water for a good way out (and thus perfect for kids and dogs) plus the NT shop and café are useful too. Bournemouth is a very short ferry hop away and worth a visit. Wareham - one of our favourites - and Wimborne -another - are both worth a visit, and Corfe Castle was as usual worth a look-in. Bluntly, we'd visit much more often if only it wasn't always so busy (in fact this was a late booking). Only disappointment - the wonderful sound and sight of the steam train railway only half a mile away - they were having a "diesel weekend" and it's just NOT the same! The steam train rides between Swanage and Corfe add a perfect touch to a lovely site.

Nice little club site, perfect for visiting Swanage and the coast

really nice little site, the kids enjoyed the play field and riding their scooters around, shame there was no proper play area (not a complaint, would have just made it amaze-balls), the toilets and showers were immaculate and in great condition, the pitches were level and well kept, retrospectively I wish I had booked a grass pitch so the kids could have played in that area, great phone signal on EE (15mbs on 4G) all around the site, perfect TV signal using our van antenna, no problems with power outages. Generally very good. Only complaint... No local fish and chip shops, you need to go to swanage. Overall, we had a great time and intend to go back again.

Happy Haycraft

This is our seventh visit to Haycraft since 2001, and yet again it has proved to be a good choice.  This is one of the nicest small sites in the network, made even better by lovely wardens, friendly, helpful, and cheerful.  The facilities block may be small but is kept immaculately clean and has to have the required number of showers etc to meet regulations or it wouldn't be allowed, if it's busy try showering off peak, I rarely have to queue.  From some pitches the views are stunning, we can see the sea from ours.

Very nice site, welcome to the site was the most sincere and would definately return, shower block could be bigger in the morning at peak time.

Excellent location to tour the local attractions, nice quiet spot as we expected, the lady and gentleman in the office were both very helpful and genuine, thank you for making our two nights easy and very comfortable, toilet block clean but a bit smaller than ideal at peak times in the morning. If you don't know if you turn left out of the main entrance it takes you up to a fantastic hill top view over Swanage, which could easily be missed if you don't think of going this way. We would definitely return if we could get a pitch, but would imagine wont be easy during the peak season.

Haycraft - 2016

Very nice little site with excellent facilities. Ideally located for accessing Corfe castle, Swanage, Wareham e.t.c. The Steam railway is close by. Perfect location for the dog and there is a play park just back down the drive near the village hall for the kids.

Lovely site

Stayed here several times now and will keep going back.  Wardens really helpful as this was the first time I had towed on my own - thank you Trevor for your help!!  Plenty of places to go and things to do or just relax in the caravan.  Good for walking my dogs.
