Great Site

A great site with lovely grass pitches at the back. The wardens were very friendly and helpful. We did walk to the harbour and beaches, but it's a bit of a trek. West beach was really quiet and a great spot for a swim.

Quiet & Clean

Booked last minute for two adults and two grandchildren. Site has a small but adequate play area and a very small dog walk. Hard standing pitches are fairly close but disciplined parking means everyone had the same space. There only seemed to be a few spaces for larger vans. Well maintained and quiet considering its location which is a fair way from the beach so would not advise trying to walk it! Littlehampton beach and harbour are fine but were VERY busy and parking was difficult. A couple of nearly pubs if you wanted. Nothing bad at all.

A nice site

I was very pleased with the site. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early and I was surprised that we did not qualify for a refund - £25.70.

A disappointing stay

We spent 6 nights at this site in August and only stayed that long simply because we wanted to tour the area. The site is tired the narrow roads and short pitches were difficult for us with our van. We felt very cramped and had people using our pitch as a short cut to the dog area. Very few drivers drove at 5mph which was a worry with so many young children around on scooters. The children were a problem with a seeming lack of parental control often using the toilets as play areas. The toilets were frequently badly blocked. I feel sorry for the wardens. This has made us decide not to go to another site that is open to non members as we see this to be a big part of the problem. We moved on early to another members only site also with children and had no problems. The road noise is bad and continuous

Very friendly staff and a clean and safe environment for children

This was our first experience of a tourer caravan break with our three children.  We were presently surprised at how friendly and helpful the wardens were. Great location and a good variety of supermarkets and takeaways within walking distance.

Serviced Pitches

The site was of the usual good Caravan Club standard with friendly and very helpful staff.  However, it was a shock that the 'serviced pitch meant that because the water tap was on the next pitch 3 metres extra were required to reach it.  This involved a 28 mile return journey to find the nearest supplier in Ashington costing almost £15,00.

From The Wiganers

Stayed on site 10 days - did not want to go home on 8/8/15 as had a fabulous time. First visit to west sussex - Littlehampton site was lovely, quiet, and the weather was good. Sharon and her husband John were brilliant wardens. They made us feel welcome and could not help us enough. Thank You Caravan Club. X

Great family site

We stayed on the site for 6 nights it's very clean and well kept all the wardens were very friendly and helpful. As a family we found the site to be very safe for our children to play and relaxing for us knowing they were safe and happy. Easy walk to Morrisons to buy essentials, good location for days out.

Trains trains and automobiles

A pleasant 9 night stay at this very clean and well kept site. Wardens really great and helpful. Can walk to Morrisons and good range of produce. There is no traffic noise on site and train sounds in the background but not intrusive. However, railway crossing just out of the site is very busy. Traffic on A27 is dreadful 'the highway from hell' avoid at all costs. If visiting Brighton or Portsmouth recommend using the train from Angmering where free parking can be found on the roads around the station. Also note Portsmouth historic is 2 for the price of one on caravan club discounts on the club website. It saved us £28. Use creatively if you are going in as a family as plenty of ways to save money on big family groups. We used Freds chippy on Pier Road in Littlehampton fab food. West Beach at Littlehampton is empty but beware the parking is awful when it is sunny. Arundel castle looks expensive but is very good value for money.
