Second Visit.

This was our second visit to this little gem of a site, we chose this site as we have friends who live in the area so it was very handy. As usual the toilet block was excellent. We met some lovely people on the pitch opposite us and we have exchanged addresses and hopefully we will be life long friends. We will be back next year for another lovely stay. would recommend this site 100%.

Clean and friendly

We stayed for 4 nights recently and I can honestly say the toilet and shower block were the cleanest I have ever seen at a caravan club site. The wardens obviously work very hard to maintain a high standard for visitors. Roomy pitches, spotless appearance, friendly and helpful wardens, what more could you ask for. Great location for the coast. Nice pub within a 5 min walk, good food and entertainment.

Southern comfort

Great place to stay to visit many places in the area as well as having good access to local amenities and shops. First class on site amenities and the dogs loved the dog area. Friendly and helpful wardens. Hope to return next year.

Great stay

Friendly & helpful welcome, choice of different pitches. Great area fenced off to walk the dog. The site is kept clean, can't fault the toilet and shower block. Will definitely come back sometime. If you fancy a pub, don't go to The Locomotive, they don't allow dogs, Six Bells had a lovely garden, allowed dogs & friendly staff.

The End of Winter

Just got back from the Littlehampton site where we spent 5 days in sunshine (that's the big yellow ball thing in the sky which gets hot). Site very good indeed and we were able to be pitched close to the disabled facilities and on a grass pitch too. Grass pitch very important as it is much easier to move a wheelchair over grass than over loose gravel. The site location is within reasonable walking distance of the towns shops and the harbour walk and there are plenty of small cafes and drinks places in the town and along the harbour walk. From a wheelchair viewpoint there are some difficulties on the walk into town due to the steep inclines from the pavement to the road at each road junction. We found the towns people very patient and helpful when we were trying to negotiate these inclines. The staff at the Club site provided me with the contact details for Littlehampton Town Council and I forwarded an E mail to them pointing out the difficulties we had at each road junction. I was surprised when I received an E mail back telling me that my concerns had been taken seriously and had been passed to the West Sussex Highways Authority for their comments. We enjoyed our visit to the site and were made to feel welcome by all the staff we met.

1st time caravanners

We spent two nights on this site after collecting our very first caravan from the nearby caravan centre. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the shower block and how well ordered the site was. We found the warden to be very friendly and informative and felt reassured by her offer of help if we had any difficulties understanding the workings of the caravan. We enjoyed our visit so much we have booked a holiday in July.

Great Site

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. its a great little site, excellently kept, great location, 45 min walk to the seafront. the local pub, the six bells was great, lovely little quaint pub, nice cider. great for local amenities. we stayed on a pitch that backed onto the main road, i have to say, i did not hear the traffic that much at all and did not keep me awake at night. The phone reception is not the best (EE) but great tv signal. the dog walk was good (the dog liked it anyway). would definately return of near to that area.

We crossed the North - South divide.

My partner and I have just returned from a 10 day break at this lovely well kept site. Our purpose was a base so that we could see the treasures that Sussex and neighbouring counties have to offer. We couldn't have made a better choice. An hours drive either way you are in Portsmouth, Chichester, Brighton, Lewes, all of these have alot to offer the tourist. Not to mention nearby Arundel and its Castle. The Six Bells public house easy walking distance from the site offer superb menus and ale.       Well worth the 300 miles journey.

Very helpful warden

Many thanks to the warden, who spent some time helping us locate the fuse box after we had tripped the mains (the first time this had happened to us in 15 years and it was nowhere near the location in the users' manual!) Lovely clean facilities, ideal location for visiting Littlehampton beach. Good pub (The Locomotive) only 200 yards or so from the site, excellent food. Morrisons superstore (with petrol station) about 5/10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

Excellent Family Site

We had five great days at Littlehampton. The facilities were first class and the wardens really helpful. There was a report of road noise due to road works but to be honest it was not a problem. Would visit again without a doubt. Thanks
