New Year R&R

We've just spent a fabulous week at this site arriving on 27th Dec to a very warm welcome from the site wardens, in fact I would say the staff are the friendliest I've ever met at a CC site.  The facilities are immaculate, lovely and warm especially as we had temps down to -5 deg C at night! Great service pitches and immaculately kept.  As its only about an hour from home we will be heading here again for a weekend or three.  Great site, great staff and well positioned for visiting places such as Arundel, Brighton and Chichester and not far from a number of beaches (short drive), Climping and Littlehampton beaches being our favourites.

New Year by the sea!

Arrived 30/12 for a 4 night stay over the New Year. Arrived just after midday & received a warm & friendly welcome by the wardens. We were offered a number of available pitches. We were made aware that there was some road noise & pointed in the direction of a couple of pitches where it may not be so noticeable. The pitches were well proportioned, but as other people have mentioned the roads were narrow & turning some corners did cause some damage to the grass. The toilet block was warm & extremely clean. Shower cubicles were the largest I have experienced. Some background music/radio would be nice (experienced this at Battle) which we thought was a nice touch. Wardens worked hard to keep site looking in tip top condition. There was some drainage problems but that is an issue that the Caravan Club will need to address. Dog walk is not huge but there are other walks nearby with leaflets freely available in the information room.2 local pubs which are very handy plus Morrisons just up the road. Arundel is always worth a visit. Would visit again for a short break or weekend.
