Touring Cornwall

This site may be ok in the summer months , but the hard standing pitches are so dangerous in the damp or wet. You have to try and climb a very steep bank on 50% of the pitches to access the hook ups. I would like to see the risk assessment for this. If ever there was one. Facilities good , staff friendly. We travelled Devon and Cornwall for 2 weeks from 01/10/19 , this was the first CMC site we stayed on, the rest of the time we stayed on private sites, which I'm sorry to say were cheaper with better facilities. Come on Caravan & Motorhome club you need to pull your socks.

That’s exactly what I’d expect on site prices in Cornwall in Oct. Check them for half term or other peak season times.

I ripped a leg muscle climbing that bank several years ago. I think the warden I reported it to (after I had gone to the local hospital) thought I was trying to pull a fast one. I wrote and complained to the Caravan Club. While I was on the site another visitor did something similar and also complained to the Caravan Club. The local area manager responded to me with words disclaiming responsibility, in what he apparently thought was a clever response. So, the Caravan Club has continued to do nothing about it. Shameful.
