This site is in a great position easy access to the coast either by walking bus or taxi Everywhere was was very clean and well kept Wardens very friendly and chatty whilst remaining professional and hard working. Would I stay here again probably not - I understand that after lockdown and the children returning to school it was going to be busy however this was beyond busy. I don’t understand who in their right mind thinks it’s acceptable to limit the facilities to a Quarter of the normal availability yet continue to have the site at maximum capacity there was always a queue and the band system although good in principal was working better at another site where they had different colours for toilet and shower. We did see a man in the town with a band still round his wrist. I know the site has no control over this or infact the amount of facilities and I also know that Covid measures dictate a lot of this but surely the number of units on site should have also been limited Rather than cramming a unit in every possible space Regardless of how tight it was. This was the least safe feeling site (Covid) we stayed in on the 6 different sites we used on our two week trip This could be a great place to stay but unfortunately not at the moment The pizza van was great and we enjoyed a lovely pizza and the town is fab but I think cmc maximised the revenue at the expense of its member. On this Trip we stayed at a mixture of cmc and private sites and to be honest the private were much better they had better facilities and far roomier pitches also considerably cheaper.
