Pretty location site.

Pleasant staff very helpful found us a pitch even though there had been a problem with our booking, probably me not completing web booking properly. Facilities were outstanding, location couldn't be better, lovely walks all around the park. Only bugbear was inconsiderate neighbours, down to the individuals not the site.

TV reception

This is an excellent site but if you are a tv addict then you will require satellite as reception is very poor even with the booster system.

Super site

A lovely site in a great location, friendly and helpful staff,  makes a lovely break away from home. The local area has plenty for everyone walking, cycling, fishing or just relax around the site. We have used this site three times now and never been disappointed.

Top site on circuit

Poodlesbrook is in my opinion one of the best sites on the caravan club sites ( if not the best ) very good well kept site easy access of motorway lovely walks for dogs and very good place for bike rides . The staff are most friendly always ready to help shower block not a thing out of place . If you have never tried this site put it on your to do list you won't be dissopointed with this site

Flying Visit

What a cracking site, were new to the CC and competing in Bike sport , so literally called into the holding bay at 9.45pm of the M1 . And were away to North Yorks at 6.30am !! next time when in less of a rush , would like to stay and chill. Cant remember that lady's name on reception ?, but she was most helpful 10/10, visit in day light next time !

Great location for getting around the area.

Plenty of walks and cycling routes from the site. Ideal site for winter as most paths in the area are not muddy. Easy access to M1 if you want to travel around but still quiet. The surrounding area is industrial but the site itself is very nice. Booked for Christmas as it should be easier to get to than Chatsworth if the weather is bad.

Excellent site for all

We have just returned from a stay at Poolsbrook country park having been 3 times before,  everything about the site is excellent especially the toilet block with the luxury of underfloor heating in the shower blocks. Walks and the lakes are a dog lovers paradise

Birthday break

Our first visit and we will definitely be back.  The site was well positioned for walking, especially with the country park being on hand.  The dogs loved it!  The facilities were well maintained (I particularly liked the lagged water tap, complete with hose) and the site was very peaceful.  Lovely.

Disabled facilities

We have been visiting Poolsbrook since it first opened and absolutely enjoy going there many times a year. It was brilliant news when it started opening all year round so we could enjoy spending Christmas there too. We shall miss the wardens and the friendly greetings we always get. The facilities have always been immaculate and spotlessly clean. Now i have to use the disabled room I have been dismayed to see the condition fellow caravanners have been leaving it in.  Last month I returned to my own van to shower as the whole room was covered in talcumn powder. Last weekend was the same, in fact because I wanted to use the shower I had to clean the floor and grab rails myself. Please can people who use the facilities clean up after themselves. The disabled facilities and help from the wardens in having a pitch near the toilet block means I can carry on caravanning both in this country and abroad. We shall miss the wardens and their friendly greetings, thoughtfulness of putting us on a pitch near to the toilet block when i was staying in the van on my own and for being there if they were needed. Thankyou
