Good Few days away

We stayed at poolsbrook on boxing day until the 28th - Site lovely and clean, facilities excellent. Wardens very friendly and the little extra of a mince pie and a little tipple of wine was a lovely added extra - Would recommend this site

Favorite Site

This is a lovely site. Very clean and friendly. The wardens are very helpful. Ideal for Chesterfield and surrounding national trust sites. Very nice meal at the little castle pub nearby.

Stopping off point

This is very easily accessible from the M1 and makes a great stopping off point. It has modern facilities and is very clean with the usual friendly wardens that I have come to appreciate in all caravanclub sites I have visited to date. Next time I will bring our bikes as the national cycle path is next to the site plus the Chesterfield canal tow path route

Great location

We where looking for a quiet location not to far from home for a short break. looking through the site book we came across Poolsbrook, What a great site, just off the M1 J29A, great access roads, beautiful well laid out site with very friendly wardens. It is in a great location for walks around the ponds and woodland. Chesterfield is just down the road with a really good market and black and white buildings, with of course the twisted spire of St Marys. Not one to miss, will be back

HIDDEN GEM !

Drive up and down the M1 several times a week not knowing this site was ere. Spacious fully serviced pitches, well maintained site by the warden, showers and toilets to a very high standard, good washing up facilities, pleasant and helpful wardens. Lovely dog walks around the nearby Lake, easy access to the M1, convenient for us 30 minutes drive home. Information room very well stocked with things to see and do, as well as giving local dining and pub information. The visitors book made for good reading, some people have nothing better to do but moan, makes good bedtime reading for us that are easily pleased. We were very impressed with the site and its facilities, keep up the good work, we will return especially as it is open all year.

Very convenient in all aspects

Easy to find and check in. Good pitches and tv booster on bollard. (You need a uhf to uhf cable. an old fashioned aerial connector.) Stayed only one night en route elsewhere but will return. Only comment was price- we use cls and rallies so £20 a night in late Oct seemed high. Lots to do in area.
