Only 1 night away.

It on the spur of the moment that we decided to visit Bognor Regies with mr Daughter and her 2 teenage children, my wife found Rowan site and we booked. How pleased that we did it is lovely site with just as lovely staff, all facilities were safe and clean, the shower block and entry system the best I've used this year. We had a great short stay and will be back next year. Thankyou Colin

Autumn Stay

Had a most enjoyable stay at Rowan Park. Very helpful staff who helped us chose a pitch away from the road. A lot of the pitches were closed off as it was end of season so it was peaceful. We were aware of the construction noise but it did not worry us. Great to have a country park right next door - dog loved it. Only niggle wifi was awful, not worth the money and air angel not helpful. Had wonderful walks on south downs and plenty of places within easy reach to visit.

One of my favourites

A number of reviews have said how noisy the road running parallel to the site is but I actually stopped noticing it plus when I did it was quite relaxing to hear people racing around while I was just chilling. Actually made it more relaxing! I visited a couple of weeks ago and found the wardens and assistant wardens very friendly & helpful. Facilities clean & COVID friendly.

Lovely Place To Relax

This is our 2nd visit to Rowan Park this year. Hot in July but wet in October. Site is clean , flat and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating, explained everything we needed to know about the band system for the facilities block. Nice to just chill reading and a pleasant look out over the site. Being on the corner of a main road you are bound to get some road noise but this does not bother us. The wife likes noise to help her sleep and I could sleep in the middle of a war zone! Best thing is Bersted Brooks next door, perfect haven for the dog to run around. Also superstores and fast food outlets within very easy reach, with even more being constructed by the site. Good TV signal and a decent mobile signal for our 4G router on board to stream Netflix etc. Will definitely be back for more weekend stays at Rowan Park.

Excellent site and great location

We visited the site on our first trip away in our new motorhome. The site staff supported us from arrival and made sure that we settled onto our pitch. The site is so clean and tidy with plenty of space and lovely trees surrounding the site on most sides. The toilet and shower block is immaculate and so clean that we felt safe to use the onsite facilities during the Covid pandemic. The local area has lots to offer with shops and food outlets within walking distance. The busy town of Bognor is not far and the seafront a short walk away. We would recommend this site to anybody who wants to visit the south coast and downs area. The site managers (Rick and Kay) are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and motorhoming in general. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we really felt they made our visit to Rowan Park.

WONDERFUL STAFF

Stayed at this site on the way to East Sussex and received a warm welcome throughout. The site is small and near a main road, but we weren't put off by comments about the road. Given the cost of a pitch, the ease of access (straight off a roundabout) and fabulous staff who keep the site spotless, what's not to like. Great dog walking area right outside the entrance was the icing on the cake and only a 15 min drive from some terrific coastal paths near Chichester. We will return!

1st Time Away

This was our first time in our motorhome to try everything out, so we were expecting a learning curve. The staff on arrival and throughout our stay were magnificent, no question was too stupid for them and they really made our stay a perfect start to our motorhome adventures. I have seen the comments on road noise, and although we could hear it on occasion it did not bother us or detract from our enjoyment. We did not use the shower or toilet facilities, but everything was fully explained to us on arrival in case we needed to, it sounded like everything had been well thought out. Everyone was very friendly, including the six rabbits that visited the vacant pitch next to ours every morning. Many thanks.

Pleasant site poor location

The site is very well maintained and close to shops. It would benefitted from a better dog exercise area, but the park next door is a bonus. The staff were very pleasant and facilities kept clean. It was good to have the service toilets available 24 hours but some campers did not keep them tidy! I would have preferred the hand driers to be working. The road traffic noise spoils the site, but it did not prevent us from having a good nights sleep. Had a good 5 night stay and did plenty of cycling and walking from the site.

Weekend break

My wife are over 70 and booked this site last minute to have a mini break. Our first impression was not good as we had to wait in heaving traffic on the approach to the site. We could see from the road the caravans so we guessed straight away that there would be traffic noise, coupled with a mini dust storm from an adjacent field which was blowing to the side of the site, however the apprehension was forgotten once we got to the reception. We were greeted by Kay, who gave us the run down of the site, supplied with a map and told to choose a vacant white posted pitch and let her know where we were. The site was spotlessly clean and tidy, the only thing I think was amiss was that there should have been markings on the double rows as to where the vehicles could access and regress without the danger of driving over other pitches electric hook up cables. Due to Covid, we decided not to use the toilet block facilities. Yes it was noisy due to the close proximity of the main roads, but on a personal note the road noise did not bother us. The main noise which was annoying was from nearby. Music playing loudly on Saturday afternoon and evening., coming from a nearby caravan park on the other side of one of the main roads. Gernerally this was a good site, well maintained and close to a lot of facilities

Friendly and helpful staff facilities are clean but in need of an update, road noise wasn't too bad but we were only there for a weekend so the on going construction behind the site was not active I would imagine it would be very noisy when they're working
