Excellent site with super staff in a great location.

I only wish to highlight how staff excelled during this stay. My wife and I, like many others are on the uncharted journey of coping with dementia. Shortly after arriving we realised that my wife can no longer cope with the keypad to access the toilet / shower block. The wardens immediately offered the key for the disabled facilities. My wife found she could manage this on her own, restoring her confidence and dignity. A small thing but tremendously important. Hopefully we can continue to tour for some time yet. Thanks.

Very helpful

Recently stayed in our campervan at this park for the Hogmany fire festival. Excellent site with the best showers and toilets we've ever come across. The wardens were exceptionally helpful and rang us to inform they had had a cancelation so we could stay for an extra night. Nice area with fish and chip shop and bistro 100 yards away, and a massive coop store just around the corner. Lovely walks along the seafront into Stonehaven and round by the harbour. Also the birthplace of the battered deep fried mars bar which everyone has to to try the once. Will definitely be back although won't be having another deep fried mars bar, Fish and Chips were good though.

One of the best

What a revelation it was to visit this site. We went to my wife's "home town" for Hogmanay. This site is an perfect example of what a CC site should be like. The wardens were very friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be treated as a valued customer for a change. The site was immaculate and the showers/toilets were fabulously clean and warm. We will definitely stay again when next visiting Stonehaven.

Relaxing break

Just enjoyed four days on this site. Facilities spotless and well maintained. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Lovely beach. A must is ice cream parlour and fish and chip shop just outside site. Delicious. The beach was very rough while we were there but was a beautiful site.

Shame about the weather!

An excellent site, and well located. Pity we had to arrive just as the weather turned on us after some previously lovely days. That said, the facilities made up for it, and Stonehaven is a gem, whatever the weather. Well recommended. John & Sharon K.

Nostalgic return to Stonehaven

With my mother being born & brought up at Stonehaven It was a very personal trip last weekend. When I had my 3rd touring caravan 30 years ago this site was owned by the council & was prett poor, what a transformation now!!  Being semi retired & just bought a new  Motorhome 3rd outing my wife & I had a fabulous weekend. Thanks to all the staff on site for making this happen. Derek & Anne
