Noisy night
Spent 2 nights here over Easter and although the wardens are lovely and the toilets are clean, they are also very old and dated. My main issue was with the noise. When we arrived there weren't many pitches available and the wardens did say that pitch 8 and 10 would have some road noise. We thought that it would probably calm down in the evening as these pitches backed onto the rear of the lidl car park. How wrong we were. We were woken at 1.30am on Sunday morning by the delivery truck at lidl, unloading barrels! This continued for over 1/2 hr. I think this is ridiculous! How can they make such a racket at such an unsociable hour. The Tesco car park opposite, also seems to become the local drag car racing circuit around 12 midnight. I don't think the caravans in the centre of the site got away with a good nights sleep either. Needless to say, we won't be returning, probably the worst cc site we've stayed at.
