New Year at Beechwood Grange
This was our third new year at York Beechwood Grange, this site is well located for visiting York and the Monks Cross Park and ride is only about 1.5 miles from the site.
If the weather is poor and you’re in to shopping as well as the Monks cross shopping complex there is also Clifton moor and York designer outlet a short drive away.
There is also a Toby Calvary offering good food and drink and within walking distance of the site.
On our last visit the site as usual was clean and well maintained however two of the six showers in the gents toilet block were out of action for our entire visit and became very busy each morning. I understand work is to be carried out to the toilet blocks over the winter period and this may explain why the showers were not being repaired.
The wardens once again put on a New Year party with pie and peas and quiz and raffle ect and we enjoyed a great night with family and fellow members with all proceeds going to charity, many thanks to the wardens for all there hard work and efforts in putting on the event.
