Super Site

Great location with the château forming lovely backdrop to the site. This is a good sized park but is split up in such a way as to give everyone privacy. The facilities are clean however I felt that an additional disposal point in a more central location would have been beneficial. When we stayed in early June the park was almost full, however it was very quiet and peaceful. The character of the park may change come the school holidays. There are plenty of places close by to visit such as Mont St Michel, St Malo and Dinan. The local market in Combourg is also worth a visit. If you enjoy cycling there is a canal path close by with good cycling routes. We had a good relaxing stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Nice site

Stayed here in mid May. It is a very nice site. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very friendly. The area around the reception and pool is very nice. Everything looked very neat and clean. Nice area with plenty to see and do. The reason it gets four stars rather than five is the pitch sizes are not over generous. We were based in the newer area behind the pool area. Pitches in the more established areas were slightly larger. We noticed that some of the pitches in one part of the campsite were a little overgrown. This may have been because it was early in the season. The toilets and showers are unisex. I know this is fairly common in France and not necessarily a problem but bearing in mind it looks a fairly new toilet block I am surprised they went down this route. However I have to say it was all very neat and clean. All in all though it us a very nice site. Would definitely stay here again.

A real nice place to stay

We had a real nice time at this site and would go back to this site. The staff wear just so help full and on hand if you needed help as we are new to the caravan club they gave as a nice pitch to put our caravan on.And made us very welcome.

nice location for overnight or a few day stop

We use this site as an overnight stop on our way South.  We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.  The facilities were clean and tidy at all times.   We then stopped for a few nights on our way back and we could not fault the service we received . recommend to anyone traveling or staying longer a good place to stop.   A useful stop for using the train to travel further afield for the day as well.  We did Rennes but there were trains going to Paris from the local station.

A Real Gem

We have just returned from 9 nights at this site. One of the best we have stayed on. Extremely helpful and friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. As soon as we drove into the site we had the feeling that it was a good choice - and we were not wrong. Very friendly and warm welcome from the young lady in reception. Site and facilities are all very well looked after with clean and modern sanitary block. We had a 'Special Pitch' which was of a good size with it's own water tap and drainage. Lovely swimming pool and excellent on site restaurant and bar. Plenty of places to visit in the locality e.g. Dinan, St Malo, Cancale. We definitely intend to return next year to explore more of the area.

Two night stay on way home

We stayed at this site on our way home to the UK so as to be near to the port of St Malo. What a gem - from the moment we drove down the drive the site impressed us. Facilities were excellent and extremely clean. The pool and surrounding area for families was great. The on site restaurant was superb both for décor and quality of food and it was very well priced. Local cycle trails and plenty of walking available. We wished we had booked longer and will definitely be returning.

Well run site

This site is very convenient for the St Malo ferry. Lovely location and very well run by friendly and laid back owners. Toilets, showers and laundry facilities all modern and kept very clean. Beautiful situation with lovely walks/cycle rides along the canal near by. No shop as such but bread and croissants can be ordered from reception.  Restaurant good for evening meals and also has a takeaway service. Pool is perhaps a little small by modern standards but woul definitely stay here again if we were using the St Malo ferry.
