Best French Campsite Yet!!!

What a find - we did 8 nights on the vendee and then came to this site for our last 4, before travelling home. We absolutely loved this site. The pitches are not huge, compared to others in France - but the site was quiet - immaculate - had a great feel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Waste and water on tap is fab - no lugging containers around! The pool was so clean, sunbeds very comfortable. There is a gym for those that want it, a play room, bouncy castle, outdoor chess, MUGA, bike track, crazy golf. The canal is literally 5 mins ride away - we cycled in both directions for miles! The restaurant onsite is amazing - such good food - we ate twice in the four nights there as it was so reasonable and so good. We will definitely visit this site in the future. Brilliant and worthy of all 5 *'s

summer break

This is our third time in Brittany but our first time on this wonderful site,Half way between Renee and St Malo 15 minute drive to Dinan 2 hour drive from Caen, in the grounds of a Chateau this well laid out site has a mix of statics and Touring/camping pitches, which are mostly flat and large enought to accommodate caravan awning car and tent/gazebo, the site has an excellent restaurant and a take away offering great pizzas and chips at a reasonable price, there is a great heated out door pool, bouncy castle, trampoline and play park crazy golf, all season basketball court and a kids club arcade room and fitness room on site all in all a perfect site showers are spotless with plenty of hot water and you can get bread and croissants delivered daily hosts are on hand for you all the time, very enjoyable holiday.

Charming Site

Stayed for 4 nights on the way to Benodet. Wish that we had booked for a longer stay! It's a lovely site, extremely clean and the staff are very friendly.  The restaurant is worth a visit! Will return to this site for a longer stay.

Wonderful site

Stayed for eight nights in July.  Genuinely warm greeting in reception.  We were able to choose our own pitch and there are a wide choice.  Some separated with small hedges, some more open.  Some wide open full sun, others having partial shade.  All have water and drainage.  Lovely atmosphere in the bar with live music on one night. Pool/bar/reception/take away all arranged around wonderful courtyard.  Food from takeaway was good quality at reasonable price. Fantastic facilities with crazy golf, basketball area, table tennis, boules and bouncy castle etc., but well placed away from pitches.  Free to use well equipped gym and lovely pool.  All facilities were spotless at all times and the shower block contained many cubicles with shower and sinks which I really liked.  There was even a dishwasher!!  Enjoyed some good bike rides along the canal, yes we too saw the goats. Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning in the near future.

Great Site

Stayed for five nights leaving 16th July 2016. This is a very well run family site with excellent facilities. The majority of staff speak very good English. Great facilities for children and a very good on site restaurant. As per previous reviews the walking, running or in our case cycling along the nearby canal is a joy. St Domineuc in one direction and Tinteniac in the other. Both have shops and places to enjoy refreshments. Good size pitches with water,  non regimented, great ambiance and a refreshing lack of signage! Would highly recommend this site and would visit again.

Lovely site

We stayed at this site for a couple of nights during July on our way back to the ferry at Cherbourg. Very friendly helpful staff. Big contingent of Brits on site. Big new open field of pitches on left & older nicer smaller areas with hedged pitches on the right. Each pitch has water tap, 16a electric & drain. Motorhome service point by reception - this seems to be the only point to empty toilets. Don't use long hose at motorhome point to fill van with water - I saw somebody shove the pipe into thier toilet cassette!. Toilets (with seats!), showers etc very nice. Short walk down road to canal - fab walk along canal (or cycle) into Saint Domineuc - about a 8 mile round trip. Spar shop & lovely patisserie in Saint Domineuc. Watch out for goats eating vegetation chained up along banks of canal - some have big horns. On site bar, restaurant, bike hire & a tiny shop. There are busses to Rennes but you have to get Saint Domineuc to catch them. Overall a lovely site we hope to return to another year.

Beautiful site

We stayed at this site for just one night on route back to Roscoff. It was beautiful and we would love to return. The reception staff were extremely welcoming, we got to choose our pitch & we were asked if we wanted bread/ pastries in the morning. The site is impeccably clean & looks very newly renovated. The toilets/ shower blocks were amazing & they had a massive dishwasher available for use which was really thinking of everything. It is such a pretty site within the grounds of a chateau and the pool/ restaurant all within a courtyard. I would definately return here and was saddened that it will not be open in October school holidays otherwise I would be returning.
