We work hard to provide information on how to get to Europe, where to stay and help protect you. Our partner ferry companies are able to make arrangements for assistance at ports or onboard, and with over 350 handpicked quality campsites to choose from in 17 different countries, you'll be able to find your perfectly accessible European getaway with us.
We work with all of the ferry companies and Le Shuttle to get you across to Europe with special discounted fares available for our members.
If any member of your party has special requirements please advise us at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made for assistance at ports or onboard ships.
All of the ferry operators have their own guidelines and there may be limitations as to what can be provided on each ship due to the layout and configuration of deck space. We advise you to contact us to check this before you book to ensure they meet your requirements, for example in terms of access to the ferry passenger decks or adapted cabins on the longer routes.
Accessibility provision varies country by country when overseas. At a campsite level we have rated each site that we work with as Limited, Average, Good, Excellent and this rating is displayed on the campsite web pages so that you can see the sites that suit your needs.
You can also search for sites with accessible facilities in our booking system.

For motoring based holidays, our travel insurance is designed to allow as many of our members to travel as possible. Medical screening is in place, which may mean some medical conditions are declined for cover but we believe we are inclusive to the majority of our members, including some who may struggle to get cover elsewhere.
With Red Pennant our teams are trained to support you in an emergency whilst abroad and will treat every member with courtesy and respect while finding suitable solutions.
A wheelchair user with a genetic muscle-weakening condition, Karla loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. Along with her husband, she bought and modified a touring caravan to combat the difficulty of finding accessible accommodation, and hasn’t looked back since! Together they have travelled from the remote Scottish islands to the Pyrenees mountains, and everywhere in between.
She shares her travels, along with useful hints and tips, through her brand Adventure Wheels, as well as regularly contributing to magazines in the travel and disability sectors.
For more tips and to watch a video of Karla and Stephen’s trip to the Pyrenees visit our partners Alan Rogers website.
