Kindervreugde is a small and peaceful campsite just 500 metres from the Plopsaland theme park and from the tram which you can take to visit all the Belgian coastal cities. The lovely seaside town of De Panne is only 4.5km away, where you can find all amenities and enjoy the sandy beach. As the site is located near the French border it is perfect for access to the ferry ports at Calais and Dunkirk.
This site offers large grassy pitches, is well maintained and surrounded by beautiful meadows. Some pitches offer shade and/or privacy if desired.
Westhoek Nature Reserve nearby is ideal for nature lovers who can take a walk in the dunes and wander along the coast to spot Koniks (Polish primitive horses) or some Scottish Highland cattle. For those looking for watersports there are beach and yacht clubs that offer both beginners and advanced lessons for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surf kayaking and much more.
