This is a family run site with a lovely atmosphere. Located in a rural setting between forest and vineyards, between the Dordogne in the east and the Atlantic beaches in the west. Perfect for a peaceful break or as a stopover on the way to Spain and Portugal, just an hour north of Bordeaux.
Perfect for walks and cycling trips along quiet roads and paths direct from the campsite entrance. There is a lake on site where you can fish or relax in the small covered swimming pool which is open from mid season.
At La Motte the emphasis is on relaxation, not so much on entertainment.
